I certainly don't agree with all of his reasons for doing so, but it's a compelling argument.

It's in part an attractive argument. Anarchism always is. But, like Christianity, Communism, etc., it unfortunately also ignores large chunks of human nature.
Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Interesting to see how India deals with asylum seekers.
But where can Mr Knaebel flee to, in order to escape completely from the clutches of government? No matter where he goes, government will be there in one form or another.
Pete, if I was ever charged with the task of producing a remake of the TV serial "The Prisoner", then you would be my first choice for the role of "number six", no question about it, as all your posts and comments very clearly mark you out - you ARE that character. That sense of rebellion and yearning for true freedom is deeply embedded in everything you say. - And that's a compliment, by the way, a very big one.
BUT...here's the rub..."number six" had to learn the hardest lesson of them all: who was "number one"?
