ATW FRIDAY JUKEBOX

Here's a good tune and quite a reflective video, nice images I think! Hope you like it.

Thanks for the video. By the way, you'll likely get less of us Yanks until next Tuesday as Monday is a national holiday (Labor Day - the very name must strike at the conservative heart).

Mahons,

Make sure you all have a good break - but y'all come back.

Great song, but this version isn't as good as Mark Cohn's beautiful singing and starker arrangement.

Mahons -

Have a good weekend then. Even if it celebrates communism. Or something.

One of my top ten favorite songs David! I didn't know Cher covered it, boy she sure looks good. You're right Noel, Mark Cohn's version is hauntingly beautiful.

We mostly just sit in the backyard, burn meat and drink vast quanities of beer Pete. We could throw a commie or two on the grill for you though - might liven things up a bit. :-)

To show you how left wing we are here in America, we celebrate May 1 as Law Day (we throw our lawyers at your commies, hoping none survive), and stick all of (what's left of) our union members in one parade at the end of the summer to provide photo ops for politicians (even Republicans show up if it's an election year).
