Daphne, you really must listen to more of the Beautiful South. A quintessential British Band, brought tongue-in-cheek lyrics to a whole new level. They were described as playing "music written by Mary Poppins with lyrics written by Charles Manson".
I could only find these on YouTube (1st unfortunately the censored version. If you look around you'll maybe find the original version (not with "have" me)

I think most husbands see their wives that way, even when the women don't themselves. You guys love us, we just need to get over our focusing on the imperfections and daily crap and just go with it. Marriage is supposed to be joyous!
