ATW FRIDAY JUKEBOX 2

It's ten years since Mr Francis Albert Sinatra left this world and I have been meaning to post a little tribute to him, so here's a classic song performed by that incomparable voice and the superb phrasing..

Top choice, and 'the best of' is a top collection.

You can't go wrong on a summer's day firing up the bbq and sticking Frank on.

Frank was good, but some of his legacy is also from lasting past other crooners. However, hard to beat Summer Wind, a classic.

Frank Sinatra? Sorry but I've never heard him sing an entire bar that was in key.

And speaking of singing in key, did anyone catch that incredible closing duet by Andrea Bocelli and Anna Netrebko at the Classical Brit Awards? F**k me, that was singing!

PS Robbie Williams does "A Very Good Year" better than Sinatra.

"Robbie Williams does "A Very Good Year" better than Sinatra....

Dawkins - As McEnroe would say "You cannot be serious". Surely you're just trying to wind up the Sinatra fans.

Colm,

Actually no. Robbie sang it in tune, live. Frank was off key even in the studio.
