ATW FRIDAY JUKEBOX - 4TH JULY

Music You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

We'd really like to have you comment on our site! We want good conversation, no abuse and no trolls. I reserve the right to ban anybody who wilfully and persistently breaks these rules. So go ahead and speak your mind!
"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

Brothers in Arms is such a great album. Probably Dire Straits' best, but Love Over Gold is a good one as well.
This is also a reflection on what today represented for our countries - 92 years ago.
Thanks for recognising that, David.
It is something we all should share - remembrance of pointless loss of life of people, now sadly, more than half my age.
And the ages of others.
We who have lived so long should not forget those who never say the days we have done.
Happy fourth of july!!
Happy for IPs to be checked here. :)
I quite like the idea of being such a controversial/interesting figure that I have imitators and people ready to believe anonymous posters are moi.
Appeals to my Libran sense of myself. :)
Jo,
I am married to e Libran - I know all about how balanced they are. Now as for us Capricorns - we're no goats toe...
Jo I asked for IP's to be checked before ;-/

Beautiful song.

Great choice David.
I actually have this on CD and had forgotten all about it.
Nice choice. I loved their Making Movies record as well.
