Friday, September 5, 2008 at 03:57PM Well, I was sitting thinking of a band or song that had a topical relevance. Given the amount of discussion around the McCain/Palin ticket this week, the band that came to mind was The Mavericks. And having watched Sarah Palin's performance a few nights back, I guess there will be plenty who felt like doing what this song suggests. Hockey Moms rule.

Thing is - I am a big Mavericks fan anyway (in every sense of the word) so any excuse to get a good toe-tapping tune in on what is a bleak and wet Friday here.
