ATW SATURDAY NIGHT JUKEBOX
Here's one from long ago that still sounds great..!.
UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it is an all out indictment of those who appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to right. It doesn't and thi
s book spells out WHY.
We'd really like to have you comment on our site! We want good conversation, no abuse and no trolls. I reserve the right to ban anybody who wilfully and persistently breaks these rules. So go ahead and speak your mind!
Sir Walter Scott was onto something when he wrote.."Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive" all those centuries ago. The purpose of this site is to expose some of the deceits that constitute contemporary political debate, to provide a principled conservative voice of dissent and to make life.... that little less tangled!

Thanks for the superb song, David.
Always sad to see John; even if he hadn't died young, the demons in his life caught up with him too soon.
I've always thought that this was one of the Fab4's best ever songs. Simple yet poignant, the title line so true, so often. The closing flute just sighs and says "that's life".
Great song. And the feeling of what if always lingers in Lennon's case since he was so young when he was killed.
Ah, thats good.

I'll gently disagree with you there. John had gone through his period of near-insanity and drugs. But I get the impression that at the time of his death, he had conquered most if not all of his demons. He was happily married, was totally enjoying his role as a father, and things were pretty great for him.
If he had lived ( if only ) , he'd be traipsing around Central Park or someplace today, enjoying the spring sun.
