CHILD KILLER TO GET MILLIONS?
Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 12:23PM
It is being speculated that lawyers acting for the mother who was convicted along with her partner and lodger, of beating her 17 month old baby to death, will use human rights legislation to get their client a new identity and lifelong protection. This could cost the British taxpayer £££ millions. This killer mother has not yet been sentenced but I fail to see why the State should spend so much as one penny on her, and her worthless murdering associates, when they eventually emerge from captivity. Here is a mother who participated in the callous murder of her own baby - she is deserving of nothing but our revulsion.

Ridiculous use of public money. By the way, why should the name of this killer be kept from us? It is not as if we are protecting the child involved - he is dead. If we accept the argument that her identity should be witheld then so should the identity of every killer. Now that is stupid.
Is anyone really surprised at this. Same thing happened to the two devils who murdered little Jamie Bulger in the early 90s.
I wondered about the anonymity. There was some mention that it might prejuduce some other investigations but I wasn't totally clear what this actually referred to.
To me the issue is about these people being let out at all, New identities shouldn't enter into it.
It is rare than one photgraph has such an impact but I think that for most people the image of this child stirs up great emotions. The thought of what this innocent mite had to endure, while most of us were unaware of his existance and he too young and having had such a twisted set of exoerience to realise that it shouldn't have been like that.
RIP Baby P
'I wondered about the anonymity.'
Wasn't there someone on ATW looking to post the names of these monsters, right here on ATW? Did they?

Aileen, that is so true. To think that at any moment, as we enjoy the everyday patterns of our lives, that any child, or any human is suffering such cruelty, does not bear thinking about.
I think it's possible that the anonymity granted to them is because they have another new born child. If as I presume and hope will happen, that child is removed from them and adopted then the issue of their anonymity will no longer suffice.

The BBC published their names on bbcnews.commie
However, let the record show that it's despicable to want to know who the perpetrators are. On the other hand, the Labour Party rejoiced and a copper was sacked when the BNP party membership details were leaked.
