THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

EFFICIENCY, NOT BENEFITS...

Energy prices have been rocketing and it has been speculated upon that the Government was contemplating giving out consumers a one-off  cash payment to help with fuel bills. Not so. It is now being said that this has been ruled out and it is now all about the government negotiating better energy efficiency with the big energy companies in the long-term.  Whatever that means. Sorry, I can't see the logic on this and it will bring relief to no-one. If government wants to bring relief it needs to cut back on the tax take it extracts from energy and there is no willingness to do this.

He's talking nuclear and wind farms and better use of north sea oil reserves to reduce reliance on foreign oil.

The theory is that if you invest in the infrastructure (ok big business, if you will) the benefits will filter down to the punter.

Unfortunately, this theory is a long term one and most folks can't see beyound their noses and demand the fix NOW!
