HALLOWEEN...
Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 12:20AM I can remember going to see the movie "Halloween" many years ago now and admiring the indisputable charms of the then-young starlet Jamie Lee Curtis! But now I see that a website created by the Church of England claims that the event of Halloween, which is based on a pagan celebration and has no Biblical basis, represents "light coming in the darkness" similar to the arrival on Earth of Jesus Christ. It is part of a campaign by clergy to stop the spread of the secular American interpretation of Hallowe'en that sees children dress in horror masks and demand "trick or treat" from neighbours, and revive its Christian meaning of a commemoration of saints. What rubbish. Bring back Jamie Lee - if not Michael Myers...Halloween is not a Christian festival and the determination of the COE to embrace it speaks volumes for their apostasy.

They are dropping All Souls Day? I hope they get egged.
Halloween, Christmas, Ramadan, Chanukah, etc.
They're all part of cultural fairy tales!
Halloween costumes are of many types and people dress themselves depending on their status and also the taste.
All souls day, is also known as all hollows isn't it? To drop it would be a pity.
