HAPPY 4TH JULY...

One of the things about ATW which makes me most proud is the number of Americans who contribute to the site both in postings and commentary. You all know how fond I am of the USA - and in truth I often think of myself as more American in spirit than British! So I wanted to wish you all a very Happy 4th July - God bless America and God bless each and every one of you who read this.

4th of July, the day which celebrates the ultimate victory of colonization. Where the settlers no longer need the 'motherland' to sustain themselves, indeed the motherland actually became a burden.
