Well, alright. Obama has won, and I don't like it any more than you do, Troll.
But, assuming that the vote (and the vote count) was free and fair, then so be it. Let's not stoop so low as to claim that he "stole" the election, as our media-driven opponents did, the last two times round. None of that leftist nonsense for us - He won it fair and square.
OK, let's judge him by what he does, and we'll praise or lambast him on those terms.
Oh, and one other point:
At least in the British mainstream media (such as the Guardian, and I'm thinking particularly of Pete Bell's cartoons in the Guardian), it has been OK to refer to Bush as "Bush-halliburton-CHIMP" or similar names. Now them, say, if Obama does something really stupid, will it be deemed "OK" for any newspaper cartoonist (such as Bell) to refer to Obama as "Obama-burton-CHIMP"??
Errr...ummm.... somehow I think not. Why, I just cannot imagine! But I just can't wait to hear the media's sychophantic excuses as to why not!

But, OK, let's hold our fire until he is in office, I think that's fair.
The Russians have already shot a bow across the waters, what with their threat to position counter-defensive missiles in response to the USA's proposed defence systems in Eastern Europe.
Russia may be many things but it is not stupid, and it has a very well planned military stategy. Let us see how well Obama responds as a military strategist. Time will tell.
