JUDGE THEM BY THEIR FRIENDS...
Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:46AM It is well seen that Sir Hugh Orde, the Chief Constable here in Northern Ireland, has seen the political mouthpieces of terrorist groups like the UVF rally around him.
"PUP leader Dawn Purvis has defended the Chief Constable's right to "stray into politics", ahead of her party's annual conference in Belfast on Saturday. Sir Hugh Orde has been under fire in recent weeks, and is frequently mired in controversy, over remarks he makes on the political process. Last month he said the DUP and Sinn Fein needed to resolve the policing and justice"

Purvis is a nobody. Meanwhile an agent of the British has gone missing from jail here.
MYSTERY last night surrounded the apparent disappearance of an alleged Special Branch agent from Magha-berry Prison.
In February the dissident republican Paddy Murray, pictured, was one of three men sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to abduction and assault charges.
At that time Murray publicly denied speculation that he was a Special Branch agent.
He is understood to have been spirited out of the Co Antrim jail six weeks ago.
It is claimed he is living in Britain under a witness protection scheme.
Murray’s alleged role as a police agent was first raised during the trial of five people charged in connection with the discovery of a Real IRA bomb factory in Ballymena in February 2005.
The charges against the alleged bombers were withdrawn after defence lawyers tried to reveal Murray’s alleged role as security-force agent.
Nationalist and unionist politicians demanded an inquiry into concerns that the trial had been collapsed to protect Murray’s alleged role as an
informer.
