Justice Done
Serial child murderer, Tsutomu Miyazaki, was executed in Japan today, two decades after he began a reign of terror in Tokyo's suburbs by abducting, killing and eating parts of four young girls.
Good.
UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it is an all out indictment of those who appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to right. It doesn't and thi
s book spells out WHY.

Sir Walter Scott was onto something when he wrote.."Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive" all those centuries ago. The purpose of this site is to expose some of the deceits that constitute contemporary political debate, to provide a principled conservative voice of dissent and to make life.... that little less tangled!

Pete,
Yes, good. If I believed in the Devil I'd say he was a man possessed.
I trust the execution method caused him enormous suffering.
Not good. He is suffering no more. He should have remained in jail until he died a natural death.
Ok. Hit the switch with that one.
So far this year Japan has hung 13 murderers, and have about 100 waiting on death row.
With a population double that of the UK, it has less than 50K in prison, and with recidivism at a fraction of ours, they all have to work their buns off, for their keep.
Amnesty International feel this is deeply unfair and would like to see Japan come up to speed with the rest of the 'civilised' West and are pressing Japan to ban CP.
I bet Japan would just luuurve to be like us......
There is a lot that Japan could teach all the western countries.
They've not forgotten the concept of shame. If you've committed a criminal offense there, the loss of face in front of family and neighbors is one strong deterrent against doing it again-even stronger than the prospect of returning to prison.
In lots of places in Britain and in America, family and neighbors will make excuses for those who sell drugs or who commit other offenses. Not so in Japan.
A fascinating and yes, not so small country.
Phantom - Unless you are the Emperor.
The Emperor of Japan has been selling drugs? (g)
A world War II era joke (or attempt at one). My apologies.
Domo arigato.

Hope you're not talking culinary, they seem to eat a lot of weird things. :-)

I love a lot of those things, if its sushi and sashimi that you speak of. I could eat sushi every day.
Draw the line at fugu though. When I was there, a friend tried it. Not me, ever.
I like Japanese soups. Very flavourful.
