Unless you have statistics to show that a higher percentage of the migrant community engage in criminal acts than the host community then all you are exhibiting are classic signs of racism!
By the way I did email you via the website about buying your book. I'm beginning to think there's something in the book you don't want me to see!!!
I doubt very much that it has anything to do with racism, more like experience and scepticism.
Experience of actually living in an area of high immigration, especially from Eastern Europe, and a scepticism of stats and data as provided by any police authourity.
Are three hundred extra police being drafted to tackle terrorism because immigrant crime has decreased, - or is it just more political flim-flam?
It appears that we are getting to the stage where our beloved government is so muddled, that it is isssuing conflicting statements, all on the same day, and on an almost daily basis....

As for my views on Romanians and Bulgarians, they are not racist...just factual!
"UK police investigates more than 40 criminal gangs led by immigrants form Bulgaria and Romania.
Activities of the gangs came into focus in 2007, when Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU and UK had to open its borders to the newcomers, Sunday Express reported.
Human trafficking, prostitution, money-laundering and drugs smuggling feature among the crimes these gangs most often commit.
Bank accounts of two of the gangs were frozen after investigation showed that they accumulated more than 15 million pounds in four months. Scotland Yard still has not arrested any gang members and refrains from revealing investigation information.
The UK government had repeatedly warned of the danger of Eastern European criminals coming to the country, “particularly from Bulgaria, renowned as the most lawless nation on the continent,” the newspaper said.
A Home Office source said that the “criminal elements are now teaming up with their fellow countrymen who have been here for a couple of years.”
Except now this is apparently on a par with indigenous crime????
Talk about responding to an argument that was never made!
Complaints by senior police officers and local politicians state that mass immigration has led to more crime in some areas and different types of criminal offences. This report does nothing to contradict that.
What does contradict the report is that 1 in 8 prisoners is a foreigner, and that 1 murder in 5 is committed by a foreigner:

So what if foreigners don't commit crimes at a higher rate (murders excepted) than Britons? These still amount to tens of thousands of crimes a year which would never have happened without those foreigners being here.
Almost a hundred people were murdered by foreigners last year. If using mobile phones must be banned because someone, somewhere, could be killed by a distracted driver, clearly foreigners must be barred from Britain. This is the logic of those who demand the law covers all eventual possibilities in attempting to protect life.
Even for less serious crimes, that foreigners (apparently) commit them at the same rate as Britons is unacceptable. Such a casual disregard for Britons and our laws shouldn't be accepted. That the Association of Chief Police Officers (via the Guardian!) hold up this apparent fact as if it's alright demonstrates what a bunch of moral retards they are.

It is so wonderfully reassuring to hear our police talk like this when police in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland etc., are saying exactly the opposite.

If there hasn't been a rise in crimes (in a rising population), then there isn't a need to see a corresponding rise in arrests and convictions.

It was weird - seeing all these books with my name on the cover and my words inside! I always find it strange when an article of mine is published - it's like it comes from this other DV! Something to bear in mind when considering crime is that it is overwhelmingly committed by the young, and the peak age for impulsive and petty* crimes such as vandalism, shoplifting and the like is only in the mid teens, with more serious crimes most common in the early to mid 20s.
Seeing as immigrants are (I think) usually in their 20s and 30s and without teenage children they probably aren't contributing very much to the petty crimes that make up the bulk of the crime statistics.
* I don't like the phrase 'petty crime' but I can't think of a more convenient way of describing those types of offences.
In classic leftist fashion, Daithi O raises the spectre of 'racism' - against white Europeans!!
Whilst the nationality of the criminals at the police station may not be recorded for some reason, the nationality of prisoners is recorded. As far as I'm aware, they are greatly in excess of what is believed to be their presence in the UK as a proportion of the population.

That may be true but it doesn't follow from what you said.
'Foreigners' are also over-represented in coffee and sandwich shops I expect, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't get a sandwich or a cup of coffee if they weren't here.
The murder rates are another thing, perhaps.
