THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

LIP SERVICE...

It's a simple enough answer but first let's consider the question.

Church of England leaders have accused the government of favouring Islam and other religions while paying only "lip service" to Christianity.  A report commissioned by the Church - "Moral, But No Compass" - says ministers failed to understand the full range of the Church of England's work. It asks WHY government is focused on listening to Islamic voices and disinterested in listening to Christian voices?

Let's get the establishment lie out of the way to start with, shall we?

Alvin the chip-munk look-a-like Hazel Blears - Communities Secretary -says it is untrue that the government ignored the Christian majority in the UK in favour of engaging with Muslims. But she said there was a good reason for discussions with Britain's young Muslims: "We've got a tiny minority of people in this country who seek to pervert Islam (LOL) and use it as a backdrop to the kind of extremist messages that pose a significant threat to this country. "That's the reason that we're working with young Muslim people to try and make sure that they're resilient to the extremist message."

Now, let's strip away this evasion and nail the issue. The Government listens to Islam because Islam represents a violent threat to this country. Government is scared of Islam. Government seeks to appease Islam. By contrast, Christians offer no threat. So Islam IS given preferential treatment by this government of fools and the Church of England (and RC Church) is sidelined. That's how it is with appeasers. They believe that if you feed the tiger enough steaks, it may turn vegetarian.

The Church of England pays lip service to Christianity and gives preferential treatment to islam. Listen to The Archbishop of Canterbury or the Bishop of Southwark: they are muslim placemen.

The Church report is essentially correct in principle, and I believe it is no exaggeration to say that the current UK government is an evil government.
True enough, the full manifestation of its evil is not yet apparent to all, but hey, even Mugabe has needed some 25 years in order to deliberately reduce his country to the state it is now in. Labour has certainly wasted no time in starting that very same process.
EVERYTHING, every single policy Labour has drafted and/or enacted over the last 11 years needs to be completely and radically reversed, bulldozed, discredited, torn apart and rebuilt from scratch.

So that would mean:

An increase in the basic rate of income tax from 20% to 25%.

An end to the minimum wage.

An end to the ban on smoking in the workplace.

The abolition of the Scotish parliament and the Welsh assembly.

An end to the independence of the Bank of England with regard to interest rates.

The reinstatement of the hereditory House of Lords.

The re-privitisation of the railway track.

Yeah, go for it!

Points 2, 3, 4 and 6: absolutely. The others, I have no particular opinion on, either way. Certainly, the abolition of the minimum wage is to be welcomed. How dare the State enforce an absolute minimum value upon the wage to be paid for any and all types of labour. That's just plain stupid. To suggest that just because of the mere fact that you turn up for work, and do (or not do) anything at all, it has absolutely GOT to be worth a legal minimun of £5 + whatever per hour, is plainly and utterly ridiculous. Let the market decide.

Reverse the ban on smoking in the workplace? - Absolutely. It's the proprietors' choice as to what (legal) activities they allow their employees to do, not the State's. If you go for an interview and the bosses tell you that this is a smoking zone, and you don't like the idea of that, then don't blooming well accept a job there, p*ss off and get a job elsewhere. That's the common sense way, the way it ought to work in a free England.

Oh, and it was Old-Labour communists Wilson & Callaghan who pushed up the top income tax rates to (what was it? 87%?) in the 70's, and Thatcher who brought it down from that to 40%. So don't give me that moonshine.

Re-reading my above comments a day later, I just wanted to say sorry Peter if I got a bit over-narky with you there. Comments which express unbridled support for Nu-Labour policies just totally rub me up the wrong way, and I get a bit narked with them and so I tend to lash out a bit. No personal offence intended, it's my bad, as they say.
