LORD MANDY OF RIO....
Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11:25AM Yesterday I covered the Prince of Darkness aka Lord Peter Mandelson, the twice disgraced politician brought back into the heart of government by Gordon Brown. I see that today Mandelson has alleged that the Conservative front bench colluded in the recruitment by Damian Green of a civil service mole who was seeking to "pursue political ambitions" with the Tories. Mandelson is using the classic tactic of blaming the innocent on the crime committed against them and it is further evidence of the trail of slime he leads wherever he goes. Mandelson is pure poison and I forecast he will fall from power a third time - the boy can't help it.

Mandelson may well have a point. Anyway, he has an unlikely ally in Melanie Phillips today:
"Through their absurdly self-aggrandising histrionics, the Tories are now dangerously exposed. The professed concern by the Cabinet Office, which triggered the police inquiry into Green, was that this was not a run-of-the-mill brown-paper envelope leak to an MP who was the happy beneficiary of this one-off serendipity, but a sustained and collusive attempt at political espionage in a department which guards national security. Maybe this was all trumped-up nonsense; but the Tories are now at risk of looking dangerously irresponsible."
Wishful thinking Peter, NuLab and Mandelson are digging themselves a deeper hole, and they think they are too smart to get caught.
Yes Cameron is still wet behind the ears, but aa a fellow commentator said last week, - rather an honest fool than a devious liar!
It was so obvious where the original 'grooming' label came from, Mandelson is so familiar with the term and the practice, it is probably a commonplace expression for him to use. As pointed out elsewhere, and frequently, the man is utterly poisonous...
Oh dear Ernest!
I fear that your homophobia is clouding your vision, yet again,
Peter,
I freely admit my dislike of the perverted act that you seem to accept so easily.
As for it clouding my vision, do you not see the man as one so devious and Machiavelean, that he will stoop to any level to achieve his goal? Betraying friends as easily as his enemies, and quite prepared to lie, when occasion demands.
I am sure he will appreciate the thought that he has your support, and again, it seems, - 'birds of a feather do flock together!'
At least I do have have 'vision', which is the reason for your envy, no doubt!
