Musical Commentary on Mahons Quitting

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

We'd really like to have you comment on our site! We want good conversation, no abuse and no trolls. I reserve the right to ban anybody who wilfully and persistently breaks these rules. So go ahead and speak your mind!
"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

Never thought I'd see and hear the "Dead" on ATW.
Elvis 'the terrible' Costello is the usual offering from a certain man with 'musical deficiency syndrome'.
I saw the Dead a few times. An acquired taste, but a very good one, nearly impossible to translate to mainstream radio. Jerry's been gone a long time now, eh?
Phantom,
I remember one particularly lame New Year's Eve I spent with three friends in the basement of one their parents' houses. We watched a whole Dead concert on t.v. - right through midnight - and we all thought Jerry looked like he'd soon be a goner.
We all put $10 on when we thought Garcia would join Hendrix, Morrison and other greats in the great beyond. I went out on a limb and put my mark on 18 months from then. I won the bet. It was 1981, around then anyway. He lasted 13 or 14 years beyond what we thought.
A very nice musical tribute for Mahons, I like the Dead.
You have a deep, kind, and giving heart, Troll. A gentleman in every respect.
I'm sorry that I was hurtful to you earlier in the week. You were going through a rough patch and I slapped rather than offer support. I truly apologize. I feel really bad for making you feel worse. I suck some days, I'm very sorry that I was a bitch.
I don't have audio on at work, so I'll have to trust the musical tribute wasn't "Friend of the Devil".
no but that would've been a good one
don't sweat it Daph
Eagle
I saw the Dead in Madison Square Garden, in Binghamton, and in Syracuse.
Wasn't a Deadhead, but new a few that were Deadheads, and a few who thought that they were. It was an interesting moment in time, and like many interesting moments in time, I bet it's not entirely disappeared. Believe that what's left of the group still occasionally tours as " The Other Ones"...
"knew".
But you knew that.
