Bypass grandfather fights off Samurai sword post office raiders
So claims the Daily Telegraph. Allow me to suggest a more ... meaningful headline:
"OLD BRITAIN BEATS NEW BRITAIN"
And here's the 68 year old Alan Garrett - triple heart by-pass and all - letting two typical products of modern, liberal Britain have it with a bottle of sherry(!)
Even though these vicious scrotes were armed with swords and slashed Mr Garrett's hand and arms repeatedly, they left empty-handed. Clearly, Mr Garrett was clearly raised in a time and country altogether different from the place which so indulgently provides an army of liberal lawyers and social workers ready to smother this pair of immoral bastards with love and 'understanding'.
Of course, a civilised nation would ensure that Mr Garrett would be free to arm and protect himself. If that resulted in this pair lying dead on the floor of a post office, so much the better.

Isn't it amazing that crimes such as violent robbery were absolutely unheard of until the last couple of decades. How wonderful it must have been in Pete Moores' wonderful old conservative world where everyone could walk the streets day and night without even imagining that someone would ever try to so much as pick their pockets. It's all Harold Wilson's fault isn;t it.
Colm, your tongue is poking through your cheek! They did have violent crimes in the old days, but hanging as well.

No you are wrong. As Pete so accuratley explains. These 2 violent robbers are a product of modern liberal Britain. We obviously didn't have violent robbers in the halcyon days on unmodern unliberal Britain.
Meanwhile, footage from camera 2 shows an unidentified shopper jigging backwards out the door, while reciting yeats and waving a bottle of baileys and an Irish passport at the assailants.
Perhaps we should call him Padraig O Moore from now on :)
It's the same here. The old guys are the only ones who will stand up and fight. The young kids cower and cry. I've seen it happen a couple of times back in the old neighborhood. Self defense is a human right, and it is something that you have to be mentally prepared to do ahead of time if need be.
