NO GROUNDS FOR DETAINING BIN LADEN'S RIGHT HAND MAN IN EUROPE..

So, Abu Qatada, the fanatical preacher once described as 'Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe', left prison last night after winning his fight against deportation. Qatada  -  who is considered one of the world's most dangerous terror suspects  -  was released on bail after a judge ruled there were no grounds to keep him in jail.

No grounds to keep him in jail? Really? I can think of 52 VERY GOOD REASONS to ensure Qatada is kept locked up.

He is also expected to be housed in an MI5 safe house, where he will be subjected to intensive round-the-clock surveillance, costing the taxpayer an estimated £500,000 a year. Officials have even gone so far as to ban him from receiving visits from Osama bin Laden, and more than 20 other individuals.

I repeat what I said the other day - we are not SERIOUS about fighting militant Islam. If we were. this maniac would not be free. The Courts KEEP letting is down, and the Judge who has ordered that this man be released into the community has made a very poor decison in my view.

This is absolutely mad isnt it?
This and the decision ot to deport jihadis to Jordan.

What to do? I do believe in separation between judiciary and legislature, but surely in this case something can be done.

No government can be THAT incompetent so I can only conclude that the Brown regime is toying with us, us being the general public. It is a policy not to deport such facilitators of terrorism, and the 'government' uses its judges to impose this policy whilst simultaneously allowing this same 'government' to say that "it's not our fault".
A simple application of Health and Safety would suffice to have this muslim cleric deported based on an assessment of risk to the public.

Allan
the govrenment do want him to be deported though - they seemed genuinely p1ssed off that the courts have given him bail.

In this instance the blame lies with the judiciary.

Andy, this 'government' sends afghans to Croydon by train UNACCOMPANIED so that they can be processed for deportation then feigns amazement when they don't turn up. When they act "pissed off", it's not genuine: they really couldn't care because it's all part of the enrichment process and it's for our own good.

this is what happens when you have courts dealing decisions about matters that should be handled by the military

A weird decision, can't you give him the old bartender's closing line you don't have to go home but you can't stay here?

That's just insane. Why does your government care what happens to him after he leaves the country? The UK is seems full of busybody officials and judges - just ship him off and forget about it.
