THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

Can America Trust the BBC?

"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!

You recall the absolute shambles from last week concerning the loss of the personal details of 25 million people by HMRC? Well, HMRC has subsequently written out to all those families concerned, assuring them that there is nothing to fear and that it is most unlikely that personal security has been compromised. My wife received this letter the other day and it arrived in an envelope that was not sealed. This meant that all the information INSIDE was freely available for anyone to see! They just get deeper and deeper in a mire of incompetence....

So they mail some 7.5 million letters, to reassure people that everything is going to be fine, and there is no need to worry unduly. The totally duplicitous lying bunch of creeps! - of course there is a need to worry, unless, you are as stupidly careless as they are.

7.5 million letters at what - 20p each to post, isn't that some 1.5 million pounds - just in postage? - and all to save 5,000 pounds to edit the original database.

Talk about compounding on the original mistake with a further pointless gesture!

This is rapidly developing into the worst possible scenario, where the discs, and the others that missing, will not be found, and thus the future integrity of the database is forever blighted, as, while they are missing there is always the chance that they will, at some time, be used illegally. This is one problem that isn't going away any time soon...

These bureaucrats are unbelievably stupid, and heads - and pensions - should roll!..

Ernest,

Exactly. I was stunned to see the unsealed envelope with all our details available for all to see. Just proves you CANNOT trust the State. Ever.
