NUMBERS THAT DON'T ADD UP?
Monday, November 26, 2007 at 01:15PM Here's a query I have.
Gordon Brown tells the CBI that..
"Of today's six million unskilled workers in Britain, we will soon need only half a million - over five million fewer."
So why has it been essential for hundreds of thousands of unskilled foreign immigrants to come into Britain over the past several years? If we have too many unskilled workers to start with - why do we need so many more? Where is the economic sense in that? Where is the joined-up Government? Is Gordon lying?

I'm sure the detail is in the Five Year Plan ....
All those tractors to be made, plus I hear wheat production will hit an all-time high...
Gordon Brown doesn't know what he is talking about. This 'towering intellect' is an idiot.
Slightly off-topic but I have just finished The Ghost by Robert Harris. If you like politics and thrillers (and dislike the Blairs) you will enjoy it.
