ON THE QUESTION OF CHARACTER - PART TWO
Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 07:49PM I thought this was pertinent to the debate concerning the characters of the Democrat candidates...
"Why do Barack Obama and Joe Biden claim credit for the work of others so often? Barack Obama saw a camera and claimed unjustly credit for work on an immigration bill-an action that led to a rebuke by Senator Christopher Dodd and that merited a front-page Washington Post story.
Barack Obama campaigned on passing bills in the Illinois Senate -- bills that he did very little work on (the heavy lifting was done by others before him) but that his political godfather State Senate President Emil Jones, Jr. made sure his name got tacked on as part of Obama's bid to build a record for his Senate run
. Barack Obama claimed that his committee, the Senate Banking Committee passed his legislation involving sanctions and Iran. The problem? He does not serve on that committee. Has he been too busy running for president to notice? Are we too expect the promises made on the campaign trail are equally illusional? Now Joe Biden claims credit for working on Bosnia legislation -- a story he told in the debate with Sarah Palin. The problem? The work was done by Senators Dole and Lieberman.

The man's a legislative lightweight. Hey, maybe that works in his favor - he hasn't screwed up the country as much as his hardworking peers. <sarc, kind of>
lack of truth and character are important credentials to run as a democrat
Troll, give me a hard break darling. You despise McCain almost as much as Obama. Go with your inner good instincts and trash both of them and the parties they represent - they are all throwing us off the proverbial bridge.
