THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

Can America Trust the BBC?

"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

OVER THERE - BARRY, WE HARDLY KNEW YE

As we approach the final weeks of the US presidential campaign, it is reassuring to see the McCain-Palin team cut to the chase on the most fundamental issue of all - namely an examination of the character of the man who would aspire to be the next Commander-in-chief - Barack Hussein Obama. Naturally some Democrats are unhappy at the prospect of the record of Obama being publicly scrutinised, for obvious reasons. But there is a central question here and it is one that supporters of The One seem curiously reluctant to discuss - just who is Obama and what does he offer?

Well, we have a man who presumes to have an answer to the economic crisis the US faces and who yet denies his own Party's profound culpability in  bringing the crisis about and who cannot point to one thing he has done since being a Senator to challenge the Fanny Mae/Freddy Mac social engineering nightmare.

We have a man who postures as a putative Commander in Chief but yet who seeks to cut and run from Iraq but who would invade Pakistan. Is this a wise council?

We have a man who has associated himself with ex-terrorists, with bigots, with race hustlers and yet he is man who can unite the people, apparently?

We have man who seeks to resolve an economic crisis through raising taxation, through greater State involvement in the lives of every American.

We have a man who proposes sitting down to talk to the enemies of the USA, without conditions.

We have a man who chooses a Vice President who imagines having a coffee in a cafe that closed 25 years ago as part of his current dietary regime.

We have a man whose bid to become President is supported by the likes of Hamas and Castro.

Is it not essential that Obama's character is publicly dissected or is he alone so uniquely special that none dare raise this?

The media have an all pervading  narrative in play here and it is this; Obama is the solution regardless of what the problem is." McCain and Palin have been ridiculed and attacked mercilessly by the same media that cheered for Gore and Kerry. Our memories here are not so short. All sorts of questions have been asked of their backgrounds, their records, their character. But heaven forbid that the sainted Obamessiah should be put through the same process!

I am delighted that Obama's character is now being put stage central and compared to that of McCain.

I am also reminded of a previous US President who once observed

"Character is the only secure foundation of the state."
He could have added - ... and of the President.

They should have started highlighting Obama's disgusting allies months ago, but better late than never. Unlike a lot of his supporter Obama knows that his record is seedy. which is why his campaign have gone to such lengths to silence and intimidate investigative journalists looking at his record.

McCain has been campaigning with one hand behind his back to date. That must end.

In tonight's debate, he needs to pound Obama pretty good on character, energy policy, taxation, all of it.

If the real McCain does not show up tonight, Obama is your next President.

The press has refused to do there job. A free press is supposed to report the facts on the news and especially candidates.

The american main stream media has proven they no longer are nothing but pr arms for their own political agendas

News Reporting no longer exists.

"The press has refused to do there job. "

Surpringly CNN has looked into the Ayers-Obama connection with his erstwhile ally and made it clear that Obama has lied about the extent of their relationship:

Pigs have flown, an MSM outlet has looked into Obama's background! It won't stop the rest of the media insisting that they merely came in contact on occassion.

Would any Obama supporters consider their man to be eloquent?
