PASTOR SICK BUCKET...

I think most reasonable people will have concluded that Obama's "spiritual adviser" the Rev Wright is a nutcase, and a vicious anti-semitic us-hating shakedown merchant. Yes?

Well, but not quite all. I was reading that the Rev Wright has attracted some much needed support. Get this....

"The Reverend Jeremiah Wright is an outstanding church leader whom I have heard speak a number of times,” proclaimed the Rev. Dean Snyder “He has served for decades as a profound voice for justice and inclusion in our society. He has been a vocal critic of the racism, sexism and homophobia which still tarnish the American dream

Who is Rev Synder? He happens to be the Pastor to Bill and Hillary Clinton! Read the rest here.

David,

He happens to be the Pastor to Bill and Hillary Clinton!

No, he doesn't. The piece you linked says "The pastor of the Methodist church [Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C.] that Bill and Hillary Clinton attended during his presidency" which was eight years ago under a different pastor. The author also points out that "It is not clear whether Hillary has attended Foundry at all since her 2004 election to the U.S. Senate." (Note that Hillary was elected in 2000 and re-elected in 2006, but we won't fault the author for getting his facts wrong.)

Now, I think you should check out the group that the writer belongs to. It is "right" up your alley.

A correction might be appropriate so that one isn't accused of descending to Clinton-level appreciation of the facts.
