THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

PRESIDENT BLAIR EXITS...

Breaking news. As the Eurocrats discuss who will be the first European President (No need to consult the people over so trivial a matter, that's so passe!) over fine cuisine and good wine, news emerges that Tony Blair has been rejected and Gordon Brown has conceded this point. Blair will be desolate that despite his years of crawling to Brussels, they still rejected him. Herman the Belgium looks like being the man who gets the job .

All the governments involved in this decision were elected by the people.

Few: What's so awful about a vote?

I don't think the office should exist at all but I would be wary of calling for a vote. An elected Euro-President would have a huge mandate and would draw power to the role. I think the Federalists would like us to demand an election.

Oh well at least Belgium gets closer to being able to count it's number of world famous citizens on more than one hand ;)

The rules for a vote would be hard to set up ---as I don't think many would want an EU wide popular vote

As mere taxpayers and vote holders, it doesn't matter what any of us think anyway.
But I am so damn glad he didn't get the job!!
When I see his smirking face now, I think of Dr David Kelly and how he was either driven to suicide or murdered (the verdict's still out.) Or coming over all "emotional" during the Iraq invasion. What a ham!

Blair is the ugly face of British politics, and this New Labour government has done more to wreck the people's trust than all the rest put together.

That's it. Plus the fact that any one of the candidates would probably never have been heard of by over 90 percent of the electorate. I reckon turnout would be around 10 percent.
