THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

ROBBO AND THE DANEGELD...

I oppose talking to terrorists other than in two SPECIAL circumstances;

1. To ask them what their last wish is before they are executed or

2. Asking for their unconditional surrender. That's it - nothing else has value to it.

So, when I read that Northern Ireland's First Minister Peter Robinson has met the leaderships of the loyalist terrorists the  UVF and UDA, it sickens me.

The meeting comes amid government pressure on loyalist paramilitaries to decommission their weapons.The DUP is also demanding the IRA 'army council' is disbanded before policing and justice powers can be devolved. The DUP leader said the UDA and UVF's response to the talks was "positive". He said they discussed making violence and criminality "a thing of the past".

A few questions for our First Minister;.

1. For how many years has the DUP engaged in talks with loyalist terrorists? What has been the result?

2. If it was wrong, as the DUP has loing argued, for the likes of the SDLP and British/Irish government to talk to IRA/Sinn Fein, then why is it right for the DUP to talk to scum like the UDA and UVF?

The DUP are unspeakable hypocrites, cosying up to all sorts of terrorists in the name of "peace".

What are the odds on a another fudge on policing and justice and the great DUP rolling over again? Oh, and it will all be hailed as yet another dramatic breakthrough !

So talking to Nelson Mandela or George Washington would have been off the cards for you David, except in those two delightful circumstances.
