Im sure most people would have listened to the information presented instead of the music, then made up their own mind, an interested few may even decide to investigate further. Should such shows have no music whatsoever? The music you refer to was background to monologues by the presenter with different imagery, as is typical of most documentary type programming. The essence of the show was the interviews with various different people, and there was no music playing then. Did you miss that?

Yes they played sinister music whenever pro-Israel campaigners were mentioned, so I was convinced!

The BNP could be a powerhouse if they weren't such assholes.

I've been saying that for years, but the truth is the BNP is playing at politics, they've found a niche and the leadership hasn't the courage to attempt a go at the big time.

To understand the BNP today you have to understand it grew out of the National Front, which was a genuinely fascist group active in the 70s and 80s. Many of the BNP leaders come from that time, not from mainstream British opinion today, and are a block (for various reasons) on the BNP taking the obvious opportunity in front of it.

One of those reasons is that they've found a niche and the leaders find it lucrative. Another is that (seriously) some of their claims are made tongue in cheek. For example, the BNP leader Nick Griffin is a recorded holocaust denier. Does he believe this? Of course not, he's much too intelligent to deny the obvious, but said what he said about it almost from a sense of mischieve and a decade before the BNP's potential prospects became clear. In fact Griffin must know well the historical closeness of Britons and Sikhs.

What the BNP needs now is it's own internal kristallnacht, a purge of the old NF baggage that prevents the party from planting itself in the reality of mainstream opinion. It won't do that because the party leaders now have enough of an income to destroy the hunger.

If I was an ethnic minority or Jewish and active in that sort of politics, I would be trying to get a mass join up of the party. Quite fun if every member of an ethnic minority or Jew joined at the same time and turned up at the meetings :o)

Indeed i did DaithiO. Suprised there wasn't a thread on this site labelling it anti-semitic....but i suppose there were a few uncomfortable realities exposed.
