THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

RUNNING THE EU ON CO2

Here is a useful insight into the mindset of the European Union...

At the heart of the "European project", there has always been one core goal in all it does – to absorb ever more of the powers of national governments into the centre. And almost the only thing we know about Mr Van Rompuy's ambitions in his new office is that he wants "more Europe".

Much of his wish list may have been drearily familiar ever since the Addenino report of 1985: more flying of the "ring of stars" flag, more singing of the "European anthem", EU number plates on cars, EU identity cards. But the one thing the EU has needed to make its powers complete, and which not even its Constitution could give, was the power to levy its own direct taxes. It is no accident that this is now at the top of Mr Van Rompouy's list – nor that the way in which he plans to raise those taxes is by levying new charges on every kind of activity that emits CO2.

The faux logic is impeccable. By claiming "moral virtue" the EU President will seek to cloak the ambitions of the superstate he presides over. What possible objection could all us good Europeans have to paying a little bit more tax - espeicially a virtuous tax - if it helps set a moral precedent and saves the planet? That's what Van Rompuy and his French and German masters want us to think. We submit our liberty and freedom to their control but it's all in a good cause.

Suppose that you are an ordinary Briton sick to death of what you are seeing and hearing around you. The EU is being given your nation's sovereign powers, your job is under threat from export abroad or from any asylum seeker who has crossed 13 countries to get here, and you are told that you'll have to pay more tax because of global warming. That means that quite a few of the visitors to this site. Now we read that man-made global warming is a conspiracy by a clique of fund-hungry 'scientists' (oh yes, £13.8 million for Prof Phil Jones is a lot of money and nthe taxpayer has more of it than 'big oil') who also ensured that dissenting scientists are marginalised and ridiculed in a Stalinist manner.
One party opposes the EU, will protect British workers and businesses, and is now clearly stating that MMGW is a scam but which should not jeopardise sensible energy conservation. It isn't the LibLabCons or UKIP or especially the greens so the BNP is the only sensible party in the UK.

Where next after the EU constitution ?
The EU economy has been tied together through free trade, free flow of capital and free flow of labour. Keynesian demand management will float upwards from the national level to the European level. The European central bank has taken monetary control from national goverments in the Eurozone and hence the monetary part of demand management. The "Growth and Stability Pact" of the Eurozone has the eventual aim of outlawing national budget deficits. Control of a deficit is in a sense control over taxing and spending. Sound finance, you might think ? Not likely ! Rather, the power of demand management through running a deficit will also float upwards to the European level.
If we look ahead decades then the EU will assume control of national budgets. Commissioners will turn into Europeland's ministers and national spending will be pooled. How will this scam be pulled off ? The EU budget is of course small compared to the national governement budgets. The first step will be the right of the EU to an independent source of taxation then the EU to get a share of income tax. Then when the citizens have been conditioned to think of themselves as "citizens of Europe" we will be told of the "inequalities" between regions within Europeland and the need for income transfers between regions. And voila ! Taxnspendnborrow determined at the level of Europeland. Cameron, Miliband and British Bilderbergers as yet unborn will not have enough sticks for all the theatrical "lines in the sand" and concessions they are "forced to make".

Sound pretty close to UKIP policy to me so I think you are being a little disingenuous,

Personally I am anxiously awaiting a tax on the production of "human methane".
People who drink copious quantities of beer to maintain their health will really get it in the neck, as it is well known that beer and farting go together....
The noxious gases produced in this way are the real threat to our survival as a species...
I'm so glad I don't.....

This'll be a tax I'll take particular joy in evading.

PS.
I suppose all those in opposition to the EU President's cunning plan could invite him to a meeting:
perhaps in a popular drinking establishment...?
Quietly bolt the doors...
then, on on Mr Moore's audible signal,
Let rip with a gaseous bombardment.....
and do the b*****rd in.
There,
THAT'S affirmative action, Mr. Moore!!!
