Science Fraud on a Global Scale
Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 04:44PM Via the hacked emails from the British Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia, the investigation into the AGW scandal is widening to include other universities and research centers around the world.
Lord Monckton is calling the AGW scandal a “ financial and science fraud on a global scale” and he is setting up a new website to track and report developments in the AGW scandal. The website address is called: science and public policy.org
Lord Monckton and Professor Singer, both called “charlatans” in the CRU emails, have filed a joint report/request with the UK Information Commissioner to investigate the possible criminal wrongdoings of scientists involved in the AGW scandal.
Will Nobel Prize Winner/Carbon Credit Billionaire/ Snake Oil Salesman, Al Gore end up destitute and behind bars? Only time will tell.

AGW Hysteria

and it all starts to unravel, the CRU DESTROYED ALL THE ORIGINAL DATA......LOL
If you don't have the raw data then you don't have science and there is nothing for your peers to review.
The science is scuttled.
Beyond astonishing.
So much for " peer review " and all the fine talk about how the scientific community polices itself.
This does not appear to be an error, this is damned close to criminal activity.
Expose the frauds!
Tell Gore to give it back!
Drip drip drip, baby.
From a a delicious article by Kyle Smith
“It’s no use pretending this isn’t a major blow,” said environmentalist writer George Monbiot in The Guardian. The e-mails “could scarcely be more damaging. I am now convinced that they are genuine, and I’m dismayed and deeply shaken by them.” BBC environmental analyst Roger Harrabin fretted that the e-mails will “have a lasting impact within the world of science.” Georgia Tech climate scientist Judith Curry wrote that, “Even if the hacked e-mails . . . end up to be much ado about nothing . . . the damage to the public credibility of climate research is likely to be significant.”.....
Other horrible news for climate scientists: One of the hacked e-mails from a climate scientist considers the likelihood that SO2, or sulfur dioxide, being emitted by China’s smokestack economy may be counteracting warming trends elsewhere. So a cheap solution to warming — one that doesn’t rely on dreamy fantasies about rejiggering Western economies — might be to simply build really tall smokestacks to inject SO2 above the earth’s atmosphere to cool the planet like a windshield visor. The same solution is detailed in the bestseller “Superfreakonomics.”
Der Spiegel International wrote this week, “The closer one looks at climate models, the greater the temptation to doubt their usefulness. Is this not a case of altering parameters until they produce the desired results? How much real science can be found in the models? How much is merely the result of tuning?”
No wonder these guys never wanted to debate. They wanted to shut it down before any real discussion had taken place.
Many reputations won't survive until New Year's Day. The arrogant ones are going to take a hard, hard fall.
And the chances of the US passing Cap and Trade are now less than zero.
The (I prefer to call them) Whistleblower who exposed this deserves a medal.
The emails are bad enough. My God - the HARRY_READ_ME file is even more atrocious!!!!
Monica
Here are some samples of the programmer notes from the HARRY_READ_me file:
"As far as I can see, this renders the (weather) station counts totally meaningless." (57)
- "COBAR AIRPORT AWS (data from an Australian weather station) cannot start in 1962, it didn't open until 1993!" (71)
- "What the hell is supposed to happen here? Oh yeah -- there is no 'supposed,' I can make it up. So I have : - )" (98)
- "You can't imagine what this has cost me -- to actually allow the operator to assign false WMO (World Meteorological Organization) codes!! But what else is there in such situations? Especially when dealing with a 'Master' database of dubious provenance ..." (98)
- "So with a somewhat cynical shrug, I added the nuclear option -- to match every WMO possible, and turn the rest into new stations ... In other words what CRU usually do. It will allow bad databases to pass unnoticed, and good databases to become bad ..." (98-9)
