THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

SEND THE LOCKERBIE BOMBER BACK TO JAIL?

THREE months after his release on compassionate grounds there have been demands for the Lockerbie bomber to be returned to jail – because he is still alive.

US senator Charles Schumer wrote to Gordon Brown yesterday saying he should seek the “immediate” return of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, who has terminal prostate cancer. The New York Democrat claimed Megrahi’s early release was granted on the assumption that he had only three months to live. He said: “Megrahi should not have been released but it would be even more outrageous if he were to live a long and free life.”

Well, I agree with that but the fact is that this release had damn all to do with Megrahi's health and everything to do with the UK Government seeking to foster commercial relations with Libya. No blood for oil - you have got to be joking!

I was always suspicious about this "three months to live" thing.

We were in Scotland when this release happened, and it stinks of a political fix to facilitate BP and others to access Libyan oilfields. If Megrahi is still alive in a year's time this will be case proven, as they say in the Scottish courts.
