THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

STRAIGHT TO HELL

Excellent video below of those peace-loving inhabitants of Gaza going about their business of peace, prayer and understanding. Bet those missiles they were loading were full of flowers and perfume. Then again, maybe they were working on a UN project? Also note how they chose the benefits of a built up area, it's what they do best.

"note how they chose the benefits of a built up area, it's what they do best".

Where's Noel's first comment. Usually he is straight out the gate!

The "narrative" is that these rocket shaped objects being transferred were in fact "oxygen cylinders". Yeah right...

When all you have is propaganda from both sides, and there is no news media allowed in, how can you believe any of this?

Sickening first comment.

I agree Frank, there are dubious claims from both sides in this.

Great viewing. It's really top entertainment when they make you wait right till the end for the money shot. Oh the anticipation!

You were never going to get journalists to verify this, unless they were gonna ride shotgun with the Israeli Air Force ( never happen ) or if they were going to be next to the about to be obliterated rocket boys ( bad career move )

There's no reason to doubt the veracity of this film.

Phantom,

"You were never going to get journalists to verify this, [...]
There's no reason to doubt the veracity of this film."

No way to verify it and no reason to doubt it doesn't compute.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 07:12PM | Unregistered CommenterFrank O'Dwyer

The average person has no way of verifying that men walked on the moon, yet there is no reason for them to doubt it.

I can't verify that you really believe everything that you say, but I have no reason to doubt that you do.

Computes 100%

Phantom,

The problem is you have somebody of unknown provenance who says that they weren't missiles, and you have a pretty crappy video accompanied by a statement that says they were. And you have a ban on independent reporting, so nobody is there investigating either claim.

Frank O'Dwyer -

That was posted on youtube by the IDF. Oh, wait, it still can't be verified.

Maybe it's the Jackass boys making a comeback.

Yeah, like the similar footage from iraq, that quite clearly are be 3 farmers ploughing a field.

Pete,

"That was posted on youtube by the IDF."

Obviously the IDF thought they were taking out missiles. Are they infallible?

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 07:36PM | Unregistered CommenterFrank O'Dwyer

Seemingly Phantom automatically thinks anti-semtic graffiti is genuine but doubts anti-arab graffiti is. Now we have him believeing a video showing arabs being killed as genuine even though it has yet to be verified.

Anyone else think thats strange?

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 07:37PM | Unregistered CommenterRS

Even if you had the entire reporting staff of the NY Times there they couldn't have proved much, When one of them bad boy missiles hits you, there's little left to verify.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 07:42PM | Registered CommenterThe Phantom

Frank O'Dwyer -

What, you mean Gaza has one less plumbing crew?

Look, if they weren't terrorists you can bet we'd have known about it toot de sweet.

If you have evidence that the IDF is mistaken, show it. If not, well, why demur for the sake of it?

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 07:46PM | Unregistered CommenterPete Moore

Pete,

I already provide a link to a different account of it. My point is not that either story is wrong or right, the point is there is nobody independent there to check. Taking the video as it is, that could be anything.

Also the usual approach when people are killed, is to show why, not show why they shouldn't have been. I'm well aware that Hamas are terrorists and launching rockets into Israel, but that doesn't make those people terrorists and it doesn't show those are rockets.

Similarly if somebody was taking potshots at your house, it's not a license to go around shooting anyone in the neighborhood who vaguely resembles them, and then claim afterwards that their cigarette lighter looked like a gun to you (cf. Iraq).

From the very first line - 'Excellent video', to the comments made - 'Crispy rather than straight fried?', 'bulleye it's a shame they lrt the first car drive away', 'Great viewing. It's really top entertainment when they make you wait right till the end for the money shot. Oh the anticipation!', this has been a sickening post.
How can anyone, who purports to be a decent human being, come off with statements like this?
Whether you support the Palestinians or Israel in this conflict, you posted, watched, and then glorified in the killing of fellow human beings. Shame on all of you.
