Another engineered race row?

Tory MP was plunged into a race row after he accused some ethnic communities of importing 'barbaric and medieval' views about women into Britain.

David Davies, a member of the Home Affairs select committee, was accused of a 'crass misunderstanding' of the issues after his comments over a rape by 14-year-old Asian Balal Khan.

The MP for Monmouth told BBC Radio 5 Live: 'What is it about this young man's upbringing... his community or his parental upbringing, that led him to think that women are second-class people whose rights can be trampled over like this?

There are some sensitive issues here, but there do seem to be some people in some communities who don't respect women's rights at all and who - if I may say, without necessarily saying that this is the case on this occasion - who have imported into this country barbaric and medieval views about women.'

Khan admitted beating and raping a 20-year-old woman in front of his two friends as she walked home in Stoke-on-Trent.

He was sentenced this week to just three years because of his age - and because he said 'sorry'.

Of course Mr Davies is RIGHT to highlight this issue but note how the race industry instantly tries to shut him up, He is a "racist" because he highlights imported religious barbarity.

THE FLOATING AL QUEDA TERROR BASE...

It is very disturbing to read that American officials now believe Britain poses a major threat to Western security because of the large number of al-Qaeda supporters that are active in the country.

Two years ago Jonathan Evans, the head of MI5, estimated that there were 2,000 al-Qaeda sympathisers based in Britain – the largest concentration of al-Qaeda activists in any Western country. But American officials, who regularly refer to “Londonistan” because of the high concentration of Islamic radicals in the capital, believe the figure is growing all the time. They point out that recent al-Qaeda terror attacks planned in Britain have been the work of British-based Muslims, many of whom have been trained in al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

None of this comes as a surprise to ATW readers as we have relentlessly documented the sustained failure of Labour to come to terms with those Islamists who blatantly use OUR country to promote THEIR Jihad. I have great reservations that the incoming Conservative government will show any more resolve in this respect but I DO hope that they prove me wrong. The menace from Al Queda is existential - it is a challenge to our civilisation and we should use every resource to defeat it.

JIHAD AT THE HEART OF UK ACADEMIA...

A senior figure in Hizb ut-Tahrir, the extremist Islamist group banned in other countries but legal here in the UK is teaching and preaching at a top UK university.

The Times has learnt that Reza Pankhurst, who was imprisoned in Egypt for membership of the group, is a teacher at the London School of Economics and regularly preaches to students at Friday prayers. The group is supposedly barred from organising and speaking on campuses under the National Union of Students’ policy of “no platform” for racist or fascist views. The presence of one of its prominent members as a university teacher raises new concerns about Islamist radicalisation on campus. A new review of campus extremism began last month after it was discovered that the alleged Detroit airline bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was a former president of the Islamic Society at University College London.

Islam is quite astute at using the moral ambiguities and inherent leftism prevalent in our universities to advance its cause. Hizb ut-Tahrir should be banned in my view as it is a public menance and yet here we have a leading UK University allowing a senior Hizb figure to teach AND preach on its property. The Jihad is advanced in many ways - this is but one.

LEST WE OFFEND...

Did you see that British Transport Police have dropped the word ‘Christmas’ from a national publicity poster to avoid upsetting people who do not ‘buy into’ the festival.

The word was proposed as part of a slogan on the poster, which is designed to alert people to the extra number of transport police on duty over the festive period. The slogan – devised by an advertising company commissioned by the Transport Police – read ‘Christmas presence’, a pun on the word ‘presents’. But in a move branded ‘bonkers’ by Christian leaders, the police’s marketing department decided the word Christmas could anger non-believers or people from other faiths who disliked its Christian connotations.

Or, in other words, Muslims.

A ROYAL USEFUL FOOL...

The Prince of Wales has praised the ''energy, dynamism and selflessness'' of British Muslims.

He told last night's 25th anniversary dinner of the charity Islamic Relief, in the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London, that they helped bring together people of different faiths. The Prince said: ''We hear rather too much misleading information about a small minority of your community and not nearly enough about the vastly more numerous acts of compassion and commitment which characterise the work of Islamic Relief and its supporters.

Yes - like when it managed to deliver £2m to the denizens of Hamastan who suffered so grieviously when Israel DARED defend itself. And then we should recall that employees of Islamic International Relief have also been linked to terrorist organizations and attacks.  Osama bin Laden’s brother-in-law, Mohammad Jamal Khalifa, formerly headed the office in the Philippines, and in January 1999, Indian intelligence officers foiled a plot by Indian IIRO employee Sayed Abu Nasir, to bomb the U.S. Consulates in Calcutta and Madras

ADMIRING THE ENEMY...

The Taliban can be admired for their conviction to their faith and their sense of loyalty to one another, the new bishop for the armed forces has claimed.

I am sure the next of kin of those British soldiers blown apart by Taliban roadside bombs will take great comfort from these words of the spiritual adviser. Then again, they may be revolted by these idiotic ravings from this clerical clown. 

NO CHRISTMAS IN BELMARSH....

Well, I have to say I have little time for convicts of any type but I was interested to read that a festive family day at a British jail has been axed because of Islam.

Bosses at the high-security Belmarsh prison decided it would be a “waste of money”. Belmarsh holds more than 900 inmates, many “dangerous” Category A prisoners, including hook-handed Muslim cleric Abu Hamza, The south London nick is a haven for Muslim gangs who treat Hamza like a hero after he was caged for inciting murder and race hate. And it is home to the Muslim Boys – an al-Qaida splinter group – who terrorise inmates. Insiders warn tensions are “simmering” following the scrapping of the Christmas family day.

Quite obviously the management of this prison are scared to offend their militant Muslim inmates and so have decided to ensure that Christmas is cancelled. Fair enough. Can we also have confirmation that NO other religious holidays are observed in any way?

Ed Balls, the Minister for Education, is perhaps one of the most hateful of the Labour politboro and he has been to the fore this week defending the integrity of two Islamic schools that had been the alleged recipient of government funding...but Andrew Gilligan asks a deeper question

If taxpayer-funded schools were run by supporters of the BNP, there would be an outcry. Hizb ut Tahrir is an Islamic version of the BNP: not actually violent, but openly anti-Semitic, racist, and an enemy of liberal society. Do Ed Balls and New Labour really want to be the friends and defenders of such people? Does Balls really think it's good politics to be the Minister for Hizb ut Tahrir? Not for the first time, the minister has allowed his thirst for a quick hit on the Tories to overcome his common sense. And not for the first time, he has scored a tactical victory, but dropped a massive strategic clanger.

BARBIE dolls dressed in burkhas are among 500 to be auctioned to help raise money for Save the Children as part of the worldwide celebration of the toy’s 50th anniversary.

The UK’s biggest Barbie fan, company director Angela Ellis, 35, who has a collection of more than 250 dolls, said: “I think this is a great idea. This is really important for girls. Wherever they are from, they should have the opportunity to play with a Barbie that they feel represents them. “I know Barbie was seen as bad before as an image for girls, but in fact the message with Barbie for women is you can be whatever you want to be.”

Yip - even a prisoner in a living coffin care of Islam.

Rosie Shannon, of Save the Children, said all proceeds from the auction, which is being conducted by Sotheby’s auctioneer Filippo Lotti, will go to the charity.

My good friend The All Seeing Eye has an excellent post here concerning Roland Emmerich's new end-of-the-world disaster film 2012.

It features the destruction of just about every monument to man's architectural genius in the world. The Sistine Chapel is destroyed, as is the Vatican and the giant Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. The White House gets flattened, too. All man's most well known landmarks get turned to dust by Emmerich's over-the-top movie effects team.

Well, not quite all. For some unknown reason, as The Eye points out, there are no Saudi scenes of mayhem and destruction in his film. No Iranian landmarks get caved in, no destruction of Mecca and Medina are shown in Emmerich's mashup masterpiece.

In fact, no NOTHING when it comes to the annihilation of anything Islam.

As the Eye suggests,  one can only conclude that Roland Emmerich has decided that Islam has been whipped out by an enraged Western civilization before the year 2012. Or else he is a gutless dhimmi. Your suggestion?

EVERYBODY LOVES BINYAM

Yet another disgraceful decision by the High Court.

It has ruled that US intelligence documents containing details of the alleged torture of a former UK resident can be released. Ethiopian-born Binyam Mohamed, 31, who spent four years in Guantanamo Bay, claims British authorities colluded in his torture while he was in Morocco. The UK government denies allegations of collusion and says it will appeal against the court's judgement.

Bottom line - if the UK publishes this US Intel then it won't be getting so much in the future. And all because everybody's favourite Ethiopian turned cor blimey true Brit Binyam is playing out the Al Queda playbook.

Let me put it this way. If he was the Al Queda terrorist that many believe, I hope he WAS tortured. 

STRAW MAN POLITICS...

Did you see that UK Justice Secretary Jack Straw helped to secure a £1.5m donation from the Emir of Qatar to a mosque in his Blackburn constituency.

The justice secretary’s help in fixing the gift was used by the Labour party to woo the Muslim vote, it was claimed this weekend. MPs, security experts and moderate Islamic leaders said Straw’s role raised serious concerns about the way some foreign states were trying to sway the religious views of British Muslims. Straw wrote a letter of introduction to help his friend and political ally Lord Patel of Blackburn persuade the emir, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani, to part with £1.5m.

Straw is not the ONLY Labour MP who courts the Islamic vote and this comes as no surprise. Islam can spot a weak horse a mile away and Straw is more of a mule than a horse.

Haras Rafiq, co-founder of the Sufi Muslim council, said large foreign donors expected mosques to reflect their beliefs, and this was squeezing out moderate Muslims. “This has been a huge problem for the last decade. Some of the biggest mosques and institutions in the UK have been funded by foreign money and have been proven to be portraying extremist viewpoints.

Mr Rafiq nails the issue. Radical Islam has been able to make the in-roads it has because weak-minded dhimmis like Straw will do anything to court the local Muslim vote and will throw moderate Muslims to their more radical associates.

THE 11TH COMMANDMENT....

So, you may be familiar with the Ten Commandments. But there appears to be a NEW one...thou shalt not defend Christianity when debating with a Muslim.

A Christian couple have been charged with a criminal offence after taking part in what they regarded as a reasonable discussion about religion with guests at their hotel. Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang were arrested after a Muslim woman complained to police that she had been offended by their comments. They have been charged under public order laws with using ‘threatening, abusive or insulting words’ that were ‘religiously aggravated’.

But what did they say, exactly, that so upset the Muslim lady?

It is understood that they suggested that Mohammed, the founder of Islam, was a warlord and that traditional Muslim dress for women was a form of bondage.

I see. Lucky that they didn't go on to point out that dear Mohammed was also a paedophile,and  a murderer.. Not my opinion, by the way, just a matter of fact.

Isn't it time that Muslims lightened up? We live in a society where all sort of attacks on Christianity are tolerated and where Jesus Christ is made a figure of fun. I don't like that but I accept that people should have liberty to say things I don't like. That's the essence of a pluralist society, something which I beloeve is entirely incompatible with Islam. Unless, that is, you can show me otherwise? 

A DUTCH SPRING-CLEAN

Madam Chairman, this government, this elite does not have even the slightest will to oppose Islamization. No, it looks to it as a great enrichment of the Dutch landscape. All those snug mosques, those cute headscarves, those cozy burkas. Yes, the Netherlands really becomes more beautiful with that. Here and there from time to time some are left dead, or some are raped, and eventually our country will go bankrupt. But all that may not spoil the fun. Only a grumbler would pay attention to that. Just have patience for a little while, because we await the Islamic Utopia. 

Let us start to reconquer our streets, and ensure that the Netherlands will look like the Netherlands again. Those headscarves are a true sign of oppression of women, of subjugation, of conquest. It is a symbol of an ideology that is out there to colonize us. Therefore: it is time for a big spring-cleaning of our streets. If our new Dutch citizens want so badly to show their love for that seventh-century desert ideology, then they should rather comfortably do that in a Muslim country, but not here, not in our country.

He's right. But will the dhimmified elite listen? No, of course not. They will need to be thrown out of power before an assertion of national sovereignty can begin again. They see what Wilders sees, but then they deny it since the fear what may happen if they act.

Whether you like it or not, the civilized world has accepted self-censorship as well as government censorship, almost solely aimed at soothing the allegedly inflamed feelings of a set of religious fanatics.

I refer of course to Islam, the belief structures propounded by an illiterate goat-herder who managed to con a fair chunk of his mates into a belief that not only was he a prophet, his version of the writings of god had come to him in a vision, and because he was of course illiterate, an angel had conveniently written down the whole caboodle.

Now whether you believe that there is a god or not is beside the point; which is whether a muslim believer is entiltled to burn, kill and destroy in the same name of his god. As we have seen in the not too distant past, the fervour whipped up against what were simply drawings was both violent and deadly. There were riots from Indonesia through the Middle East, and Danish diplomatic missions were threatened worldwide. 

We see the same intolerance whenever the muslim religion is either questioned or taunted, something which is totally absent when either the beliefs behind christianity or judaism is mocked or queried. So when the Yale University Press decided to remove twelve cartoons which depicted mohammed, from A BOOK ABOUT THE CARTOONS, we see the same knee-jerk reaction which has become almost commonplace elsewhere in the Western world. 

In explanation of their self-imposed censorship, the Yale University authorities stated that they had 'consulted' with senior academics, counterterrorism officials as well as the 'top' muslim official at the United Nations. Speaking, as ever for myself, I find the pusillanimous words of explanation, given in self-defence, the worst sort of betrayal of the whole American ideal. They couldn't even make their own minds up as to the best way to proceed. They were faced with a simple question; should they allow the publication of a book which contained images discussed within that same book! How difficult is that question? Do you stand by your beliefs, and say what you think, or allow someone else to state what they believe; or do you cringe away from a decision, and 'consult' with experts, and thus betray the very freedoms upon which your very nation was founded?

I don't see many areas of the muslim world where free speech is even considered to be necessary, never mind available; why should their needs, beliefs and susceptibilities be considered as a factor in the every-day lives of the billions who don't believe in the majesty of an illiterate paeadophile with a flair for self-advertisment?

ANOTHER JUDICIAL CLOWN...

Amazing.

A judge lambasted a rapist for claiming his victim was a liar - then commended him for becoming a muslim. Judge Anthony Goldstaub QC sentenced Stuart Wood for seven years for the attack, then told him: 'You have turned to Islam and this promises well for your future, particularly as you are now an adherent of a religion which respects women and self-discipline.'

Comments?

Oh, and just so we are clear on this - here is what Islam tells us about women, maybe Judge Goldstraub should have a read?

ANTI-ISLAM = PRO FASCISM

In the sick and twisted mind of some political leftists such as "Communities Secretary" John Denham those who protest against radical Islam ...are fascists. 

A Cabinet minister has raised fears of a return to 1930s fascism, comparing modern right-wing groups to Oswald Mosley's Blackshirts. Communities Secretary John Denham's comments came as he announced a drive to prevent white working class people being 'exploited' by extremists. He singled out protests being organised by the English Defence League, some of which have turned violent over recent months. Hundreds of supporters are expected to gather in Trafalgar Square tomorrow.

It's not white working class people Denham needs to concern himself about but rather any poor sucker who falls under the spell of the Islamofascists that slaughtered British citizerns on 7/7 and tried to do even worse had they not been stopped.

Life in the Fast Lane

We had a Muslim in from the agency the other day.  He took his lunch break in the staffroom and sat there looking very sorry for himself as my regular staff tucked into sandwiches, soup, Cornish pasties and pasta salads.  I had absolutely no interest in asking him why he looked miserable and ashen.  If he chooses to starve himself for a month in the name of a religion, then he's more bloody stupid than he looks.

'Eat a full English breakfast to understand Christians' came the headline in Islam Weekly.  Only joking!  There is no such publication (to my knowledge) and, even if there was, the exhortation to consume sausages and bacon would have all the little Muslim men jumping up and down with fury, tugging at their silly beards.  So why, when acolytes of that creed constitute 3.5% of the total population, should the rest of us fast to gain and understanding of them?  If we wanted to understand Islam, we would have lived amongst its adherents instead of abandoning districts in our inner cities to them and their tatty gardens, rubbish in the streets, manky shop fronts and multi-coloured window frames!

I don't want any aspect of Islam in my life.  If I hear anything cultural about Islam coming on the radio or the TV, I switch off.  The only time I want to hear about Muslims is when our brave soldiers have despatched them in Afghanistan, Iraq and wherever else their despicable terror tentacles have managed to stretch.  As for Boris Johnson, I had high hopes when he took the London Mayoralty from the odious Livingstone.  But what has he become?  Another multi-culti worshipping 'wet' who wants us, the majority population, to understand a religion whose followers are some of the most trouble-making, dissastisfied, culturally distant citizens in our society. 

I have only two words to say to Boris.  The second word is 'off'!

THE HERO RETURNS

Well, they turned in the hundreds in Libya to give the newly released from captivity convicted terrorist Megrahi a heroes welcome. Why there was even a Scottish flagwaved as they cheered their conquering son. Gaddafi's son has called this a "courageous decision" and the great compassion of the Scottish socialists (backed by the English socialists) has won the hearts and minds of the Libyan people.

Never mind the helpless people that died that day back in 1988 as their plane was torn apart. Never mind the fact that this man was a convicted mass murderer. Never mind the message this sends around the world to every potential terrorist. Never mind those critics that label this Scotland's darkest hour as it caves in to the demands of terrorist supporting Libya in exchange for future Oil contracts.

No - Scotland has shown us the way forward and it is a triumph for modern diplomacy. Let's just forget about the victims of terrorism and instead feel the pain of poor cancer stricken terrorist Megrahi. Concentrate on that, please, and forget all about justice.

The Scottish government has, after all.

....BEING A MUSLIM HAS MADE HER A BETTER CHRISTIAN

It's a cracker headline and you can read it on my Biased BBC colleague Laban's blog here. It seems that EVEN the apostate Episcopalian Church has limits. Who would have figured? Give it a read and say Hi to Laban!
