THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

Can America Trust the BBC?

"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

DOG BITES DOG...

I see that Hamas claim to have killed the leader of an al-Qa'ida-inspired group in the Gaza Strip today in a shootout that claimed the lives of 22 people. The fighting erupted yesterday when Hamas forces surrounded a mosque in the southern Gaza town of Rafah on the Egypt border where about 100 members of Jund Ansar Allah, or the Soldiers of the Companions of God, were holed up.

Great to see one gang of Islamic terrorists killing another bunch. Mind you, the BBC is currently portraying Hamas as "conservative" as it "cracks down on extremists". Gotta love the liberal mindset that implies that Hamas are moderate. As we know, Islam is the religion of peace and love as the attached image quite clearly indicates.

THE TALIBAN FRANCHISE - GAZA STYLE

Yes, we all know about the vermininous Talibanin Afganistan. I reported recently on the "Taliban" group holed up in Sudan. And today, I report on the"Talibanisation"of international funspot Gaza!

"Freed from scrutiny by the EU and US focus on whether Israelis add extensions to their homes in Jerusalem, Hamas continues the quiet work of turning the Gaza strip into a Taliban-style Islamic state.A few days ago came the news that the Gaza Strip’s most senior judge “has ordered all female lawyers to wear headscarves and a long, dark colored cloak under their black robes when they appear in court beginning September.” This is part of a general crackdown on female professionals — or maybe it’s just females. It follows the news several weeks ago, reported by Khaled Abu Toameh of the Jerusalem Post, that Hamas policemen attempted to arrest a female Palestinian journalist“under the pretext that she came to a Gaza beach dressed immodestly and was seen laughing in public.”

God knows what there is to  laugh about in Gaza, mind you,  but I find the lack of any response from the international sisterhood on the rights of women in Gaza troubling. There are so many little lefties - hello Annie Lennox!  - who express their deep concernfor the people fo Gaza under the Nazi jackboot of those pesky Jews and yet - Annie and the rest of her type  -seem mute on this development. How odd. Then again, how predictable.

The women of Gaza, the children of Gaza, are all abused by the militant Islamic regime that dominates that area.. Are the sisterhood in FAVOUR of making women cover up, of arresting women for laughing in public? Or, is there hatred of Israel sufficient to make them turn a blind eye to this local Talibanisation?

LAND OF MILK AND HONEY...

We ALL know how grim conditions are in Gaza. I mean all thanks to bad Joooooos, the poor Palestinian live in hell on Earth and no matter what aid they get - regardless of how many $$$billlions$$$$ are poured in - it cannot be enough for these oppressed people.

Interesting to read therefore that

"...the population of the Gaza Strip increased by almost 40% between 1997 and 2007, according to the results of a Palestinian census. The survey, taken before Israel's recent military operation against Hamase, showed the territory has a population of 1.4 million people. The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics estimated the annual growth rate at 3.3% and said the population would double in 21 years at that rate. The UN estimates the world's current average population growth at 1.17%."

NOT A PENNY...

So, today's big question is SHOULD the BBC broadcast the "charity appeal" for the schools of Hamastan?

I have a clear view; No.

It is not for the State Broadcaster to advance the agenda of the left wing Hamas lovers in the Disasters Emergency Committee. Islamic Relief, an organisation directly linked to Hamas, is part of the DEC, so we know what we are dealing with here!

If Hamas want to rebuild the schools that they use to teach anti-Semitic hatred and Jiahd let them sell their weapons. The BBC has broadcast every possible blood libel against Israel during the three week war against the savages in Hamas and the idea that it s now some paragon of virtue because it won't do as Government Minister's like wee Dougie Alexander demand.

PALESTINIAN OWN GOALS...

I was intrigued by this report that claims "two Palestinian girls died yesterday when militants in the Gaza Strip bombarded southern Israel with homemade rockets and mortars, one of which fell short of the border and hit the victims’ home." A few points. The INTENDED victims were innocent Israelis. Those behind these rocket attacks are terrorists not militants. I am sorry that two young girls died because of the hubris of these Gazan killers but I notice that somehow Gazan terrorists along with those who support them are often presented as victims of those bad Jews. This then excuses the inexcusable. Also, I would have thought that the UN might have noticed this bombardment of Israel by Hamas but it seems not. I guess the UN is too busy thinking up new ways to castigate the real victims of Palestinian barbarism to notice. In the meantime, Gaza will bury its dead and blame Israel and then prepare for more rocketing. Partners in peace, right?
