Good for Sarah Palin!
She has opened up a proper debate on what she rightly calls "the sheer evil" of The One's healthcare plan - or socialised medicine for the slow of thinking.
"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care," the former Republican vice presidential candidate wrote. Such a system is downright evil..."
Naturally Obama denies this but then again, he would do, wouldn't he? The US is being taken down the road to hell of socialism and those who raise the issue, like Palin, can expect to be pilloried by the media for doing so. But saying what is right is better than saying what people want to hear and Obama's soothing reassurances should be treated with caution. Socialised healthcare is a disaster, as anyone using the British NHS can affirm, and we must hope that Palin warning will be heard by the US people to hear before it is too late.
