OBAMA'S MAGIC WORKING OUT WELL...

Following on from Obama's wildly successful visit to China and his regime's much more nuanced approach to dealing with North Korea, it looks like things are working out really well!

Chinese and North Korean defence chiefs have pledged to strengthen their long-standing military alliance. The Chinese Defence Minister, Liang Guanglie, is visiting North Korea two weeks before the US North Korea envoy, Stephen Bosworth, is due to visit.

So, the tyrants from Beijing seek to support the lunatic in Pyongyang. Good result for Obama?

JIHAD AT FORT HOOD?

I am picking up on the BREAKING news that there have been several murders of US military at the Fort Hood location in Texas. It seems that up to three "shooters" have been mowing down soldiers at this location. More to follow....it would seem odd that this is a "rogue" soldier event which means that something much worse has happened here. My initial thoughts are with the families of the seven murdered US military people and all those who have been injured. This is a horrendous event and we await more news.

One shooter shot dead and then two others arrested. The shooters were US soldiers.

Hand guns were used to cause all these murders.

LIVING IN A FAIRYTALE...

You know, not ALL Fairytales have a happy ending...

President Barack Obama's former chief advisor on Afghanistan has warned that it would be a "fairy tale" for the US to think it could split the Taliban away from al-Qaeda. 

Bruce Riedel, who has advised three presidents and spent 29 years in the CIA, also emphasised the dangers of "dithering" as Mr Obama conducts a second overhaul of Afghan strategy in only six months.

Riedel will be ignored. The view in the Obama White House is that there are good Taliban and bad Taliban. The bad Taliban can be won over and thus a wedge can be driven into Al Queda/Taliban alliance. It's a lunatic strategy, of course, but then again so is trying to spend your way out of a spending crisis.  Obama knows best and we must obey.  

NO FUTURE?

It's a shocking statistic.

The unemployment rate for young Americans has exploded to 52.2 percent -- a post-World War II high, according to the Labor Dept. -- meaning millions of Americans are staring at the likelihood that their lifetime earning potential will be diminished and, combined with the predicted slow economic recovery, their transition into productive members of society could be put on hold for an extended period of time. 

And worse, without a clear economic recovery plan aimed at creating entry-level jobs, the odds of many of these young adults -- aged 16 to 24, excluding students -- getting a job and moving out of their parents' houses are long. Young workers have been among the hardest hit during the current recession -- in which a total of 9.5 million jobs have been lost.

DO THE MATHS

When the State pours cash into the education system we can all see what the results look like. Obama plans to dramatically increase spending. QED.

NO RADAR - RUSSIA WON...

Well, the Poles are clear enough on the matter.

"Betrayal! The U.S. sold us to Russia and stabbed us in the back," the Polish tabloid Fakt declared on its front page.

So are the Czechs,

"No Radar. Russia won," the largest Czech daily, Mlada Fronta Dnes, declared in a front-page headline.

But Obama knows better.

Meanwhile, the Russians have expressed their satisfaction.

QUDS DAY....

you see that Ahmadinejad has celebrated Quds Day in downtown Tehran by repeating his sincere view that the Nazi Holocaust was a myth. Oh, and opposition leaders were attacked. The White House had to react to this and has called it "ignorant and hateful." But perhaps the greatest ignorance lies in the actions of the Obama White House which has done all it can to "reach out" to the Mad Mullahs whilst failing to understand that this is a lunatic regime headed up by a guy who denies the first Holocaust whilst planning a second.

The US White House has released a photograph of President Barack Obama's daughter Sasha sneaking up on her father as he works in the Oval Office.The image has drawn comparisons with the famous 1963 image of John F Kennedy Jnr playing underneath the Oval Office desk as his father reads documents.That picture helped create the image of "Camelot" associated with the Kennedys.

The Camelot fiction, still repeated ad nauseum by the media after all these years, demonstrates that once the left latch onto an idea, reality is not allowed to interrupt.

A TIME OF P(AW)LENTY!

I was impressed by the rhetoric of Minnesota GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty who has taken an aggressive line against President Barack Obama’s proposed health care overhaul Friday and insisted that a rejection of the Democratic plan could usher in a Republican resurgence.

“It appears that President Obama is making great progress on climate change, he is changing the political climate in the country back to Republican,” Pawlenty said during a speech to the second annual GOPAC conference in Chicago.  “He went around the country last fall promising ‘change we can believe in,’ but now we see it’s about changing what we believe in,” said Pawlenty, an anticipated 2012 Republican presidential contender. “We need to be calling out the flaws and misguided decisions of the Democrats in Congress and the Obama administration.” Pawlenty characterized Obama as an “extreme left liberal” proposing a health care plan “that we don’t recognize as supporters of the free market.”

“Medicaid is essentially bankrupt, Medicare is essentially bankrupt, why the heck would we give the federal government another entitlement program to manage?” asked Pawlenty.

Good stuff. I don't know a lot abour Pawlenty but I hope there is more like this. The GOP must attack Obama and show no mercy.

CHICAGO STYLE POLITICS...

Wonder what you reckon to the news that the City of Chicago will basically be closed for business on Aug. 17, a reduced-service day in which most city employees are off without pay, according to a release from the Office of Budget and Management.

City Hall, public libraries, health clinics and most city offices will be closed.  Emergency service providers including police, firefighters and paramedics will be working at full strength, but most services not directly related to public safety, including street sweeping, will not be provided, the release said.

The issue is budget, of course, and in essence the lack of effective financial management has led to the situation described above coming about. Personally, I think it's a step in the right direction. Closing down any aspect of Government is a good thing. Great to see Chicago style politics in action but this time with a positive outcome - the more Government that shuts down the better! Hope Obama can learn from the actions of his pals back in the Windy City.

AMONGST THE CALIPHATE...

Denial. It's not a great strategy for dealing with those Islamic killers who seek to spread their pathology around the world and into the heart of our societies.

I think that this is a most interesting article over on The Washington Times by Timothy Furnish. Timothy recently attended the inaugural American meetingby the the transnational Islamist group Hizb al-Tahrir -- "Party of Liberation" -- in the Chicago (natch!) suburb of Oak Lawn, Ill.

Hizb al-Tahrir (HT) is officially dedicated to resurrecting the caliphate, the office of "successor" to Islam's founder, the Prophet Muhammad. While banned as a terrorist organization in a number of countries (Germany, Russia, Turkey) for its reputation as "conveyor belt to terrorism," HT is seen by the U.S. government as less threatening and tolerable under the First Amendment.

The UK takes a similar soft line on these Islamic fifth columnists and so both in the US and in the UK we further expose our vulnerability and weakness to the enemy by welcomingthem to our soil with open arms. Timothy makes several thoughtful points and you should ensure you read his report. Denying the enemy exists is not a strategy that will defeat them.

THOU SHALT NOT MOCK OBAMA

Patty posted on this earlier and I see that it is now deemed "racist" to mock the Joker in the White House.

Yeah, any criticism of The One and out comes the race card. This after years of Bushchimphitler from the bastions on the left. It strikes me that the same people who spend YEARS dissing Bush are not able to handle it when the boot is on the over foot. 

Earl Ofari Hutchinson, president of the Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable, denounced the image and called on those behind it to reveal themselves. "Depicting the president as demonic and a socialist goes beyond political spoofery. "It is mean-spirited and dangerous. "We have issued a public challenge to the person or group that put up the poster to come forth and publicly tell why they have used this offensive depiction to ridicule President Obama."

Personally, I find the poster very effective. It isn't the colour of his skin that bothers me, it is the colour of his socialist policies. 

JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE

Look, nobody really paying taxes but we all accept that if we are taxed just that little bit more- especially if the cause is a good one, like socialised healthcare for instance - then we will reluctantly but willingly cough up. Right?

Well, that was what Labour did here in the UK many years ago, claiming it needed our cash to make its' NHS work even better. Not that it did of course, but it was a good excuse, sold by the media, and of course once taxes are put up they tend not to come down! 

Comes the news that Obama's treasury secretary has said he cannot rule out higher taxes to help tame an exploding budget deficit, and his chief economic adviser would not dismiss raising them on middle-class Americans as part of a health care overhaul.

I bet!

Look, the basis of socialism is stealing your income so it can be handed out to client groups of the governing Party. The Democrat Party are socialists and in Obama they have a figurehead who passionately believes in the redistribution of wealth. You will recall just how upset he became at Joe the Plumber when this pesky fact was pointed out. So, middle America, prepare to hand over the cash! Just a little bit more....as Dr Hook once sang...

STIMULATION VIA THE STIMULUS

Did you read that the National Endowment for the Arts may be spending some of the $80 million bestowed upon it via Obama's multi billion economic stimulus  to fund nude simulated-sex dances, Saturday night "pervert" revues and the airing of pornographic horror films at art houses in San Francisco. Happy to see your taxes being taken to fund degeneracy?

I found this a telling tale.

This brick was thrown through the window of a 4 year old cild of a white family in a predominantly black neighbourhood in the US city of Austin. The police have decided it does not qualify as a racist attack. As Rhymes With Right asks

"Could the same judgment be made if the it were a black family living in a white neighborhood getting a brick through the window with a message to keep the neighborhood white? The question answers itself."

AMERICA AWAKENING?

Following on from what Patty and Phantom have been saying, I thought THIS was an interesting take...

"The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.

They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright. They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a "community organizer," Illinois state legislator, and Senator. The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar."

Well, let's be fair. The MASS media assisted them into just closing their eyes and counting to ten and voting for the first post-racial President. The GOP assisted them by putting up a non-inspirational candidate in the form of RINO John McCain.

But now the US people are waking up to the con-man in the White House which is why he is in such a hurry to get on with the socialising of America. I don't think he will succeed but there is a very heavy responsibility on the GOP to get its act together, expose the fraud Obama, and construct a positive viable alternative that resonates with the  majority of Americans.

No easy task, I know, but it simply has to be done. America is about to go through the same damage that the UK did during the hard Labour years.
