THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

THE 2008 REVOLUTION

The Russian Revolution of 1917 refers to a series of popular revolutions in Russia, and the events surrounding them. These revolutions had the effect of completely changing the nature of society within the Russian Empire and transforming the Russian state, which ultimately led to the replacement of the old Tsarist autocracy with the Soviet Union.

The Provisional Government held state power and the national network of Soviets, led by socialists, had the allegiance of the lower-class citizens and the political left. the Bolsheviks and other socialist factions was to abandon the war effort. The Bolsheviks formed workers militias into the Red Guards (later the Red Army) over which they exerted substantial control.

The October Revolution (November of the Gregorian calendar), in which the Bolshevik party, led by Vladimir Lenin, and the workers' Soviets, overthrew the Provisional Government in Petrograd. The Bolsheviks appointed themselves as leaders of various government ministries and seized control of the countryside, establishing the Cheka to ruthlessly quash dissent. The Bolsheviks, were a faction of the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP) ultimately became the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.[4] The Bolsheviks seized power in Russia during the October Revolution phase of the Russian Revolution of 1917, and founded the Soviet Union.

Bolsheviks (or "the Majority") were an organization of professional revolutionaries under a strict internal hierarchy governed by the principle of democratic centralism and quasi-military discipline, who considered themselves as a vanguard of the revolutionary proletariat. Their beliefs and practices were often referred to as Bolshevism. The party was founded by Vladimir Lenin, who also led it in the October Revolution.

On Dec. 20, 1917, shortly after the Bolshevik Revolution, the new Union of Soviet Socialist Republics formed its first intelligence agency, the Cheka, an acronym for the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counterrevolution and Sabotage. It was headed by Feliks Dzerzhinsky, who ran the organization until his death in 1926. Today, a statue of Dzerzhinsky adorns the front of KGB headquarters, the modern-day successor to the Cheka, in Moscow.

The above are just simply the facts of history taken from various history sources.

Today if Barack Obama wins and is also given a filibuster proof congress led by Reid and Pelosi. We see the same revolution reliving itself, without firing a shot. The Bolsheviks (bureaucrats) seize control and pass laws that basically do away with capitalism.

That's the good scenario. The bad one is if Obama is like Lenin who will be his Cheka? Well consider Barack Obama's newly appointed Muslim outreach adviser is coming under fire for meeting with Islamic groups with extremist views, just two months after her predecessor resigned over links to a radical cleric.

Minha Husaini met with members of several Islamic organizations in Virginia on September 15 -- including some that terrorism experts say have ties to Hamas and the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

Among the attendees were senior members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which was listed by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror-related trial.

Several people connected to CAIR have been convicted of felonies -- including on terrorism-related charges.

They sound like a perfect arm of butchers for a secrete police. We already know free speech will be ended with the Fairness Doctrine being put into place, Hell you already see dissent being shut down by the campaigns calls of racism over even what someone weares.

Power will be in the hands of those who falsely believed they were persecuted for dissent in the 60s-70s. Now these paranoid power freaks will implement the very policies the feared.

Even if none of that happens the damage by a Pelosi-Reid congress with the precedent set by this bailout to take controlling interest in rhe banks this precedent will have set them up to seize control of any industry they choose Like say the automobile industry just for starters.

And this President will sign the bills and fill the Supreme Court with those that will uphold them.

The world is about to change if Obama wins.

Even if none of that happens

I just read a report that has Mr. Bush in Camp David right this minute, signing on to whatever the French and Europeans want- and Obama is nowhere in sight.

The French leader's speech made reference to the end of capitalism as they have known it.

Going to read some more on it!

"Those who have led us to where we are today should not be allowed to do so once again," he said.

"This sort of capitalism is a betrayal of the sort of capitalism we believe in. And that is the reason why ... we have come to make Europe's voice heard."

From Sarkozy's statement.

The Chrezvychaynaya Komissiya were established as a need, not as a want by Lenin in 1917. He was a pragmatic man, who realised that since February 1917 to December, when the Cheka were formed, there had been two Revolutions, and another attempt at a Revolution and a failed Counter Revolution.

" The bad one is if Obama is like Lenin who will be his Cheka?"

In what way is Barack Obama anyway like Vladimir Lenin?

"Minha Husaini met with members of several Islamic organizations in Virginia on September 15 -- including some that terrorism experts say have ties to Hamas and the radical Muslim Brotherhood."

She is attempting to reach out to Muslims. They don't need to reach out to Muslims who already disagree with Terrorism. It is the Terrorists that they need to reach out to to stop them being Terrorists.

Actually he's "Joe the Kulak" and he is to be sent to the Reeducation Camp in the Zinc Mines of the US interior, to be cured of his reactionary tendencies.

What utter tripe from Rightworld.

LOL!

Let's hope that Obama survives, because this sort of rightwing bullshit can only encourage the "lone nut" in a gun-saturated society to take direct action.

If I was a believer, I would be praying for his safety. No doubt if the worst happens we'll get the usual crocodile tears from the usual suspects.

Firstly, Lenin replaced an incompetent administration that made blunders from the outset. That is basically where the similarities with Obama will end. That incompetent administration had replaced an evil, corrupt regime that had lasted 300 years, so unless you are suggesting something about the history of the United States then I don't believe that the similarities way up.

Lenin was against Democracy and actually closed down the Constitutional Assembly only six hours after it was first opened.

Lenin was against Private Property with all power and wealth, everything down to the clothes on your back belonging to the State. Does Obama support this?

Lenin created the Chrezvychaynaya Komissiya to keep himself in power and to ensure that the Bolshivek state was able to survive the Russian Civil War. Has Obama shown in anyway that he will a) face a Counter Revolution b) face a Civil War? Has he shown that he will create a Secret Police?

Lenin created a one party dictatorship where the Bolshivek Party replaced the Soviets and the Politburo replaced the Sovnarkom. Has Obama plans to replace Congress with the Democratic Convention and replace the US Cabinet with the Democratic National Committee?

Lenin ended unpopular wars by granting huge sways of land to Russia's enemies. Does Obama plan to allow Iraq and Afghanistan to annex parts of the United States?

Lenin believed in a State Economy where the "heights of the economy" where controlled by the Government. Does Obama have any plans to Nationalise Heavy Industry, Utilities etc?

What tendencies of Vladimir Lenin does Barack Obama have?

Peter,

"What tendencies of Vladimir Lenin does Barack Obama have?"

Well apparently he proposes a tax increase of a few points on those making more than $250k. This will abolish capitalism as we know it, just as it did in the 1950s when the top tax rate was more than double that under a communist called Eisenhower. We all remember the mass unemployment of the 1950s and certainly you will never hear any conservative wanting to take us back to those dark days.

As for the idea that the rich should pay more in taxes, only communists and most economists (who are elitists) believe that. As Adam Smith (the well known marxist who mocked captalism as having something to do with an 'invisible hand'), wrote in the first draft of the communist manifesto which was called 'the wealth of nations':

The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. A tax upon house-rents, therefore, would in general fall heaviest upon the rich; and in this sort of inequality there would not, perhaps, be anything very unreasonable. It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion

The above are just simply the facts of history taken from various history sources.

What's with the assassination fantasies ( or assassination porn) of so many Obama supporters? Do you secretly prefer the prospect of St Barack the Martyr, sacrificed to stump toothed, rednecked hillbillies, than a President Obama?

Frank drank the whole bottle Obamma promisses a trillion dollars in new spending, a rise in capital gains and a rise on all corporations or as the have done with the banks seizing a controlling share.

Him Pelosi Clinton and Reid have already suggested seizing and nationalizing all oil company assets

these people are true believers...

My honest opinion is Obamma is going to loose by a landslide, but if he doesn't by the end of his 8 years we will be in a civil war or as oppressed as the old soviet union

Where has he shown this, outside of your crystal meth fueled visons? What Counter Revolution is Obama going to face? Is America's version of Lavr Kornilov or Anton Denikin, probably George Casey, going to march on Washington DC to overthrow him?

What Secret Police tendencies has Obama shown? Where has he stated his intention to form a Secret Police?

They clearly have a problem over there. It hasn't just started. We've had eight years of placards and t-shirts and effigies calling for Bush's assassination.

No demonstration for eight years has passed off without these some halfwit pinko commies.

All forgotten of course, it never happened guv. No, it's only now they're concerned that someone, somewhere, maybe, might call for someone to be bumped off. Typical Left Wing myopia.

More importantly, Hamilton has made a great statrt and is leading.

Single malt sucks

But a nice Canadian Rye Whiskey, now you are talking good whiskey

As for the whole Obama is a communits bullshit, you people are nuts, right wingnuts

Listen real close BUSH DID NOT CUT YOUR TAXES HE DEFERED THEM, you still owe that money except now you owe it PLUS INTEREST.

What america really needs is someone with the balls to stand up and tell the truth that taxes DO need to rise because the ship of state is listing heavily to starboard and is in danger of rolling over completely

Last one to try that was Bush the elder and it cost him an election.

Tax cuts have never helped the US economy in the long term, all it ever does is increase the deficit

Fortunately in Canada we had politicians who spoke to us candidly and told us the truth and while we choked on the tax increases in the long run they were right

We are the only G8 nation not currently running a deficit

Troll's claim that we could be in a Civil War within the next 8 years if Obama is elected strikes me as a hurried opinion he offered on his way to the Star Trek convention. Live Long and Prosper. And take your meds.

Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 02:04PM | Unregistered CommenterRoss

Ross, you are showing early signs of Obama Derangement Syndrome. Nobody is dreaming of his assassination. They are worried about the possibility, which is hardly that outlandish.

Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 02:09PM | Unregistered CommenterFrank O'Dwyer

"They are worried about the possibility, which is hardly that outlandish."

All presidential candidates are at risk of assassination, Obama is no different to John McCain, Joohn Kerry, George Bush or Al Gore in that regard. Yet I don't recall anyone speculating and obsessing over the possibility of them being shot before.

Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 02:17PM | Unregistered CommenterRoss

Ross,

Yes they all are but the difference is that the threat is from Americans themselves and there is a history of it. There's also a level of rhetoric being thrown around that makes it more plausible.

I don't think you can say the same about most Republican presidents or candidates - Bush being a possible exception, as he was also labelled a terrorist. Obama has been labelled a terrorist, a quasi-pedophile, a baby killer, a muslim, a marxist; on top of which he's a charismatic black leader, a charismatic democratic presidential candidate, likely to be a charismatic democratic president.

That is all a bit like this.

Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 02:36PM | Unregistered CommenterFrank O'Dwyer

"Obama has been labelled a terrorist, a quasi-pedophile, a baby killer, a muslim, a marxist; on top of which he's a charismatic black leader, a charismatic democratic presidential candidate, likely to be a charismatic democratic president."

Here is a brief history of US presidents or presidential candidates who have been the target of assassination attempts, successful or otherwise, and who the perpetrators are:

1835- Andrew Jackson attacked by mentally ill English immigrant.
1865- Abraham Lincoln killed by Confederacy supporting actor.
1881- Garfield killed by member of religious sex cult.
1901- McKinley killed by Anarchist.
1914- Theodore Roosevelt shot and injured by mentally ill German immigrant, bible scholar.

1933- Franklin Roosevelt shot at by mentally ill Italian immigrant.
1950- Truman attacked by Puerto Rican nationalists.
1960- Kennedy attacked by mentally ill postal worker.
1963- Kennedy killed by communist.
1968- Robert Kennedy killed by Palestinian immigrant.

1972- George Wallace shot and injured by mentally ill man.
1974- Nixon targeted by mentally ill man.
1975- Gerald Ford attacked by Manson family member.
1975- Gerald Ford attacked by radical leftist.
1979- Jimmy Carter targeted by mentally ill drifters, including one Mexican immigrant.

1981- Ronald Reagan shot and injured by mentally ill Jodie Foster fan.
1994- Bill Clinton targeted by mentally ill veteran
1994- Bill Clinton targeted by conspiracy theorist.

First of all I don't believe that the rhetoric has been particular extreme this year, although the whining about it has. Secondly if you look at the record of assassination bids they appear to bear very little connection to a target's charisma, I mean Ford was targeted twice in two weeks. Secondly the motives of the assassins are usually unrelated to mainstream political discourse as they are all either mentally ill, followers of extreme left wing ideologies or religious nutters. Immigrants appear to be particularly dangerous for some reason.

Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 03:15PM | Unregistered CommenterRoss

it's not the rhetoric,
it's not that I need my meds. We will never have another shootong civil war in this country

But the war has already started if you think the majorityof the country is going allow this nation to be turned into socialist hell your wrong.

business will flee, the stock market will continue to crash every tax increase will equal layoffs, no drilling will cause rationing like the 70s

the carter years will look like paradise.

Obama and his regime are marxist bolshevics once they start implementing their plans the shit will hit the fan.

We may not be able to stop it for 4 or 8 years but the longer it takes the further in the other direction the pendulam will swing.

I think the bailout has really hurt Obama because even though the press is protecting him the names of those on his campaign keep rising to the top of this mess,

He has more of a chance at losing than winning
