Islam may yet defeat us in a way I had not anticipated. Take this odd story concerning Dr Stewart Drage, a senior member of the British Medical Association, a respected political negotiator who made decisions affecting thousands of doctors across the country. By tragic coincidence, through work, he found himself at the very centre of the devastating Islamic terrorist attack on London on July 7, 2005, one of the worst atrocities this country has ever seen.The blasts on the capital’s transport networks killed 52 people and shattered the lives of thousands more.
And for Dr Drage, a happily married father of three, it was also to prove an extraordinary and profound turning point. You see as a direct result of this he decided to take the plunge....and become a woman. He is now a she and is officially known as Dr Michelle Drage. He remains married. What can you say?

Every-time David reads one of these stories he feels like going out and getting another bull-dog tattoo.

What can you say?
One could say they feel a little sympathy for him that he is depersonalising his self and becoming something else. How screwed up must a person be to do that? How long will it be before we read 'scientific' data that this is 'natural' and ok and its better to out yourself as Tootsie than live your life as something you're not.
And we're told there is no decline in morals. No harm to him but he ought to have stayed in his closet.
Does this make his wife a lesbian?

A medical colleague of mine was a pleasant, polite gentleman who got on well with all the staff - then he became a she (including the operation). The staff now tell me he/she is a right bitch. It is amazing what hormones will do.

This poor soul did no such thing.
The fact that his sex organs were chopped off and replaced by a fake womb, and that hormonal overdoses gave him the appearances of breasts has not added one more woman to the world.
It is a polite medical and social fiction that there is such a thing as surgical "sex change".
This is a sad case who had his balls cut off. I wish him whatever happiness life can give him, but don't ask me to call him "she".
I live in Minnesota, home to one of the two places in the US that does sexual reassignment surgery. So, I probably know more than my share of TS folks.
The big trend recently is guys getting the whack, who go on to be lesbians. A psychologist who did some research on this found that these folks are very different psychlogically from the traditional man-to-hetero girl loppings.
Mind you, he didn't say that they were better or worse, just different. But oh, man, did the gals with 5:00 shadow tear him apart on the net. Apparently there's nothing so fierce as a lesbian-in-a-man's-body scorned.
I agree with Phantom here, although it brings up the question of what makes us intrinsicly male. I would say that the surgeon can remove the berries and twig, but the chromosomes don't lie!
I mightn't be too Political Correct on this issue, but in my opinion if you have Y Chromosome then your are a man. A Eunuch is still a man.
The same way if someone thinks there a Black Man but are genetically Caucasian, then they are not black even if they fucking think they are.
This is just insane. The guy is still boffing his wife - but he's got boobs. He (oh - excuse me - she...) isn't attracted to men.
My thought was - why doesn't he just dress up occasionally??! ;-)

Doctors are making millions removing whirlly-twerlly things from the arses of stupid 40sh babes who got drunk 15-years ago.
In another few years doctors will get richer by performing "Willie" transplants on jerks who wanted to be part of the 2008 in trend.
I'm interested to read the comments, as I know this guy. All sympathy to him for his problems, but I agree with what's been said - no balls, nail varnish and a makeover does not make him a woman, and it's insulting to think it would.
