THE CHAPATI KILLERS....
Monday, January 15, 2007 at 01:15PM I see that the six men accused of planning "murderous suicide bombings" on public transport in London on 21 July 2005 have gone on trial today. The prosecution alleges they were involved in an "extremist Muslim plot" targeting the capital - 14 days after the "carnage" of the 7 July bombings.
The prosecutor told how six bombs were made using a mix of liquid hydrogen peroxide, CHAPATI FLOUR, acetone and acid. Each bomb was placed in a large plastic container and screws, tacks, washers or nuts, were taped to the outside to "maximise the possibility of injury. How charming.
Interestingly, the Prosecution alleges that one of the alleged bombers trained for jihad in the Sudan in 2003 (What, BEFORE we had gone into Iraq?) and had also travelled to Pakistan the following year "to take part in jihad or to train for it". That would be Pakistan - our ally in the war on terror???
Also, another one of the defendants, Yassin Omar, is alleged to have fled London after the attempted bombings disguised as a woman wearing a burka!
I guess these burqa's have to have some utility......
