THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

Can America Trust the BBC?

"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

THE DOOM MONGER!

john.edwards.dncwinter2007.jpgHow interesting to discover that Democrat Presidential candidate John Edwards believes that if he isn’t elected president, the population of African-American males is likely to either wind up in prison or dead. At an MTV/MySpace.com forum Thursday, Edwards responded to a question about inner-city kids partaking in violence by saying there was no “silver bullet” to fight the problem.

“We start with the president of the United States saying to America, ‘we cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating — pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They’re all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.”

I noticed that Mahons claimed in his excellent post yesterday that Democrat candidates won the Presidency by uniting the country. Not sure if he meant uniting the country in laughter however- poor Edwards!

Which is precisely why Edwards will eventually lose in the Democratic primary season because he is building his campaign on an "us" against "them" platform that is as shallow as he is. His divisive rhetoric is almost comical - now he's the hope for black America?

Good call Mahons. America will be better the more united as possible - in that regard we agree I think and hope to see someone bring that unity.

We'll keep our fingers crossed.

John Edwards is beginning to suspect his campaign is doomed, so he's moving even more to the shrill left in hope of pulling victory from the jaws of defeat. The sad statistic in this case is with 13 per cent of the population, African-Americans commit 49 per cent of the crime in America -- much of it against one another. Edwards would be better off developing ideas on how to get black males to be fathers to the illegitimate children they bring into the world.

Oooh Banjo, remember in this country 'telling the truth is no defence'...

Edwards is fast becoming the McCain of the Democratic list. I think he knows now that his only hope is to try and become the candidate of the united Far Left - who are currently unlikely to vote for Clinton or Obama.

Is John Edward sticking to his 2004 promise to make Christopher Reeve walk again if he's elected?

Seriously though John Edwards is the absolute worst person to have a real chance of becoming President in 2004. He is utterly devoid of any normal human scruples about telling the most outrageous demagogic lies for personal advantage, and that appears to date back to before he entered politics in his Lionel Hutz phase. I hope Hillary and Obama thrash him so completely in the primaries that he disappears from public life for good.

Exactly what is an African American supposed to be anyway? I've often wondered.
Africa is a continent made up of many different nations? As is 'America'. i.e. USA, Canada in the north and not forgetting all the countries in Central and South America. Is someone then whose Great Grandparents moved from Congo to live in Boliva an African American?
Its always confused the hell out of me?

I'd forgotten about that one.

I'd call this guy an ambulance chaser, but that would give the rest of them a bad name.
