I remember enjoying the series. But this clip has two appaling innacuracies:

1. Pitt was a Tory, not a Whig.
2. Pitt could never have met Metternich, as Pitt died in 1806 and Metternich did not appear on the main European diplomatic stage until 1815 at the Congress of Vienna.

But a good laugh anyway.
