THE INTERNATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE?
Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 05:43PM Here's how a British hospital operates...
Countless red dots scattered across the world map on the wall of a NHS hospital reveal the story of the changing face of Britain. Each dot denotes the birthplace of a mother with a baby in the neonatal ward of London's Chelsea and Westminster hospital.
The map was put up by hospital administrators to 'celebrate the ethnic diversity' of the sick children treated there, each at a cost of £1,400 a day.
It shows dramatically how the NHS now treats patients from every corner of the globe. The 243 mothers are from 72 different nations. They include Mongolia, the remotest regions of Russia, Japan, Africa, South America, swathes of Asia, Australasia and even Papua New Guinea.
Only 18 mothers said they were from Britain. Less than 10%.
And the bill? All picked up by the British taxpayer!
Hurray for socialised healthcare - no wonder it is the envy of the world, the WORLD are using it!
NHS. Socialised healthcare

That map is a blatant lie! Every one knows the US has the greatest medical industry in the universe and their is no way 16 americans would lower themselves by going to the UK
18 out of 273, UK born.
Outrageous.
Clearly news of socialist hygiene standards hasn't made it abroad.
As chancers of the world have all learned, the NHS is the worlds favourite health service. Why? Because they dont have to pay for it.
Serious point - not that what you say isn't true - but Chelsea and Westminster catchment area is home to all the world's diplomatic staff in the UK. Virtually every one of the 250+ foreign embassies each with its 100+ staff are based there. Pregnant assistant undersecretaries wife with overseas posting is a lot of the answer. Plus the number of tourist hotels in the central london area. The Chelsea map just shows what a niaeve bunch of twats work in the NHS.
No, the reason what you say is true will be found in the birth records at Heatherwood and Wexham Park (catchment Heathrow airport) or Croydon's Mayday (Aliens registration centre) and Lewisham (where 15% of hospital patients didn't appear to have a bona fides NHS Number compared with 3% elsewhere) - I wonder why? The back door is because Maternity is grouped with "Emergency Care" and therefore everyone is entitled to it wherever they are from on the planet, as distinct from "Planned Care". The whole thing is a joke, managed by the "Department of Health" Haha
They ran the same fiddle with overseas patients suffering from AIDS. They just have to register as "students" and NHS care is an entitlement (though why escapes me). Do our education establishments really NEED bogus student enrolments? Nothing very joined up there. They get a few hundred quid registration fee and we piss away £30,000 of drugs on the NHS for every one.
This country is being pimped by its own socialists, who will call a "racist" any one who disagrees with being screwed.
It is outrageous.
