THE LIMERICK LUNACY

What IS going on in Limerick? Get this...

"The Garda Commissioner is to deploy the Emergency Response Unit to Limerick in the next few days following his discussions with the Justice Minister this afternoon. The decision follows an escalation in feud activity, including a machine gun attack on six houses in the St Mary's Park area of the city on Tuesday."

 

I don't know about you but when I read about houses being MACHINE-GUNNED, I'm thinking that Limerick must contain some serious undesirables. How effective is the rule of law here?

I wonder what the Emergency response unit will do ?. Issue fixed penalty notices to the machine gunners !

So the emergency was Tuesday and the emergency response unit will be turning up in the next few days? What are they? Plumbers?
