THE PRICE OF REWARDING TERRORISM

You do not defeat terrorism by rewarding terrorists, regardless of how many bleeding heart liberals argue otherwise. Want to know where that flawed approach leads to? Read UNIONISM DECAYED 1997-2007 - It's my first book and it explains what happens when you seeek to appease terrorists and call it peace. It's available right now for ATW readers so make sure you get your copy by emailing the editor! This is the book that dissents from the herd mentality that doing wrong can lead to being right. It doesn't and this book spells out WHY.

Can America Trust the BBC?

"I do remember... the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I'll always remember that", Jane Garvey, BBC Five Live, May 10th, 2007, recalling May 2nd, 1997.

THE NATURE OF GOVERNMENT

The US Army major who killed 13 people in a shooting spree at America's biggest military base had come to the attention of the FBI six months earlier over possible links to extremist comments posted on the internet.

Given this information, not even I would die in a ditch for his right to be armed.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, used an FN Five-Seven, a semi-automatic pistol popular with SWAT teams, that can fire armour-piercing bullets ... Hasan had bought the weapon legally at a gun store close to Fort Hood in August and practiced at a nearby shooting range.

But government was clearly cool with it.

With all the alarms that were raised about tea-baggers, birthers and Rush Limbaugh listeners I can understand why it was a shock that the real danger turned out to be from a Jihad supporting terrorist sympathizer. I mean who would have thunk it?

Following the story from here can be confusing so can someone confirm that Allahu Akbar can be roughly translated as "I'm really unhappy with my performance review"

"Mr Nelson was later interviewed for four hours by the FBI after it emerged Hasan had borrowed his computer for two months, even though he had his own.

Police are also looking for a man in Islamic dress who was seen going into Hasan's apartment two days before the massacre.

Alice Thompson, 53, who manages the two-storey block of flats, told the Telegraph: "It was very unusual because he had never had anyone round before. He had long black hair and a moustache and a dark complexion.

"He stayed about five minutes and then left. We'd never seen him before."

The plot thickens.

You can't have it both ways Pete. You have often here asserted your passionate belief that the State has no right to restrict peoples access to Arms. Now in this case you are complaining that they weren't intrusive enough.

Come off it Colm. You know full well that if the US government had intervened and, for example, removed the 'accused' from the Army, among the first to denounce the US Army for 'DISCRIMINATION' (to be yelled shrilly like a lefty) would be you.
