THE NEW MIDDLE EAST....!

So, who all thinks that the image attached of a NEW Middle East is a marked improvement on the current one? Who says no blood for oil? I particularly like the new Crawford.

ahh if it were only true...
David have you made any progress freeing up Monica and my home IP we really miss posting here...
Troll,
Have asked squarespace to sort it out asap -I've been away most of this week so not able to chase as best as I can. I am so keen for you and Monica back commenting. Maybe you could help by emailing Anthony at Squarespace with all details.
acasalena@squarespace.com
I'll make sure he gets an e-mail tonight David, thanks...
Nice map. I see you've finally come around to Daytripper's view of things.
ironically it sums up their frustrations pretty well.
"we pissed our own oil up the wall on 5 litre car engines and suburban sprawl and the only way to sustain it is to privatise a few middle eastern nations"
;)
I'll take a big house on the Gulf please!
I always knew Texas ruled!!! Yes!! Love this map!!! So much improvement over the current map!!!
(Yes, I can actually use even more exclamation points - God love my pointer finger!!!)
But....where do we send the Arabs? Oh yes, of course, EUROPE!
David, I seriously love you. You should have born in Texas, you're a Natural.
Daphne,
I feel like a Texan and when I am eventually run out of Eurotown for my heretical beliefs I know where to go!!
The house across from mine is for sale David. It has a pool!!
OT David - Please get Monica and Troll back soon. I miss Monica's fire and Troll's true aim. They are a big part of the reason why I stayed here once I found you.
"I'm a citizen of Texas, and those 49 lesser states!" is a phrase oft uttered by Texans. Gotta love 'em.
Then of course there's probably the best politician ever to live, possibly excepting Churchill: Davey Crockett. When he federal government wouldn't sent troops to stop the Mexican invasion of his district of Texas he said:
"I told the people of my district that I would serve them as faithfully as I had done; but if not, you may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas"
He did go to Texas, and died defending it. I can't exactly see Peter Hain marching off to fight and die for his constituency of Neath...
CL, you've made my heart flutter darlin'.
What are you doing in the the cold eastern outreaches? Come to Texas, we like right minded immigrants.
Troll/Monica,
Everything should be fine now - please try posting.
Daphne, oh I'll be moving State-side just as soon as I can muster the cash and the courage. I'm gonna try more for Maine/Vermont/New Hampshire but northern Texas is always a possibility (I need grass :P). But then again the deer are so darn small in Texas "Aw look, a fawn" :P
I don't get the Pakistan thing. Why would anyone want Pakistan?
