The Obamanation
Obama trails in popular vote by 250,000 since his vetting has begun in the beginning of March. As the MSM and the political talking heads demand Hillary's withdraw the dirty little fact that they aren't mentioning is that since the information on him has finally started to reach the public (in spite of the MSM) his numbers are plummeting even amongst Dems. In the votes since March Hillary is ahead.
As the information of his connection to the Racist Rev. Wright, The crook Resco, and 70s terrorist Ayers of the Weather Underground, have come out, his base has become one of only Urban Blacks and Champagne Liberals. He can not carry blue collar Dems and the Reagan Democrats.
He had sold himself as a Uniter, as someone who was not an A Typical Politician. The facts are proving otherwise. He is slowly being exposed for what he is, a radical left wing fanatic with an Ivy League polish.
As a child he had a mentor. It turns out that Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist. In his books, Obama admits attending "socialist conferences" and coming into contact with Marxist literature. Through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."
The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.
Add to that his relationships above and the picture it paints is that of a man who has repeatedly aligned himself with friends and Father figures that have a severe disdain for the American way of life.
He talks of change, the type of change that he wishes to implement is change learned at the feet of Davis and Wright. Two men that have a view of their own country as that of the enemy.
The sad and underhanded part of this whole situation is that the people whose job it is to provide the public with this information, "the press" are in the bag for Obama. Charmed by a Black Marxist Politician who people can look at and not immediately gag over or dismiss as they do with a Sharpton, or Jackson. The MSM has jumped through hoops to not only ignore this information but to go out of their way not to even ask him any questions to clarify his relationships with these people.
They have even turned on their beloved Clinton's to establish this man as a legitimate candidate. They feel comfortable doing this not only due to their own personal bent towards socialism, but due to the fact that the Republican Party has put up such a weak candidate in John McCain.
At a time when we are at War with a foe that we can not retreat from and survive, when we are suffering from a strangle hold on our own economic solutions by refusing to face the reality that unless we develop our own Oil resources our economy will collapse, because there is no magic alternative that will save us.
We are being sold a bill of goods on a man that will Raise our taxes, attack our national corporations, and increase deficit spending on a national health care system that will destroy our superiority in this field while at the same time lowering the level of service that we all enjoy. Topped off by the icing on the cake that as he retreats from the War on Terror he will meet with the Terrorist leaders with no preconditions. (I guess to discuss our terms of surrender)
God save us all if this clown wins. I personally think he is probably the only candidate in my mind that makes McCain look good.

Maybe it did, but then this was the same committee that accused Christopher Marlowe (Elizabethan playwright) of being a communist and that your president Truman called "itself the most Un-American body in the country today".
ahh but everyone accused by that commitee was proven and verified via the verona papers to be guilty. and there is No doubt or denial by davis that he was one he admited it freely.

Agreed- good post. The danger with Obama may be that although he's not a communist, he sees himself triangulating between left and right and the public out there. He's clever, I believe, which probably makes him dangerously wrong in his synthesis of ideas.

So what? I've read Marxist literature; it didn't make me a Marxist - quite the opposite.
What exactly is a "socialist conference"? Would this include the Labour Party conference in Britain? Trade Union meetings? Hardly subversive activities!

Obamas rhetoric on capital gains taxes for example when asked why he would raise it his answer was because "because it's not fair" when the question was repeated and added to the question was the fact that every time the capital gains tax has been cut the governments revenues increase not decrease his response was "the rich aren't paying their fare share".
Now since the top 5% of earners in this country pay 90% of the tax, what amount does he judge to be fair?
Never mind that every time you raise capital gains taxes it destroys investment and also hurts everyone that has a 401k.
Add to that his stance that the oil companies making 8cents on the dollar is an outrage to him. Even though the federal government makes 18cents on every dollar the oil companies make without providing the consumer anything.
His policies are government control of all industry and the healthcare system That is communism. All those paragraphs do is explain where he got his mentality and reasoning on governments role in our lives.

Really? Can you support that assertion with a link, because if it's true it would mean that the US government could abolish tax for 95% of its taxpayers with a very small reduction in spending. I find that incredible, but to be fair, no more incredible than your wild assertions on climate change.

I may have streched the numbers a little but not much. here is data from 2003 if you are really interested (which your not) you can do some research.
Think of it this way: less than 3-1/2 dollars out of every $100 paid in income taxes in the United States is paid by someone in the bottom 50% of wage earners.
Are the top half millionaires? Noooo, more like "thousandaires." The top 50% were those individuals or couples filing jointly who earned $29,019 and up in 2003. (The top 1% earned $295,495-plus.)
Americans who want to are continuing to improve their lives, and those who don't want to, aren't. Here are the wage earners in each category and the percentages they pay:
The top 1% pay over a third, 34.27% of all income taxes. (Up from 2003: 33.71%)
The top 5% pay 54.36% of all income taxes (Up from 2002: 53.80%).
The top 10% pay 65.84% (Up from 2002: 65.73%).
The top 25% pay 83.88% (Down from 2002: 83.90%).
The top 50% pay 96.54% (Up from 2002: 96.50%).
The bottom 50%? They pay a paltry 3.46% of all income taxes (Down from 2002: 3.50%).
The top 1% is paying nearly ten times the federal income taxes than the bottom 50%!
And who earns what?
The top 1% earns 16.77% of all income (2002: 16.12%).
The top 5% earns 31.18% of all the income (2002: 30.55%).
The top 10% earns 42.36% of all the income (2002: 41.77%);
the top 25% earns 64.86% of all the income (2002: 64.37%) ,
