The People Own the Government
Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 08:09PM Make no mistake about it, the Tea Party Protests, a movement that continues to resonate and grow, and that finally has on board some of the elected Republican leadership, is about liberty. Individual liberty. The Democrat controlled Congress, and the Obama Administration is attempting to take this liberty away. This power grab is not going over well with freedom-loving middle America.

They serve us - not the other way around. The scenes in DC are heartening and the power grab by Pelosi and her socialist fifth columnists is truly not in our name.

Yes, but Americans must be aware of the danger of allowing the GOP to encroach upon the uprisings. If I were a GOP stooge I'd be most keen to co-opt this patriotic, liberty-minded movement for party purposes.
The podium in the video is branded with "HEALTHCARE.GOP.gov". Let's be clear; a free people should tell the GOP to go to Hell. If it wants to recant and repent and demonstrate it has learned the error of its ways by standing for liberty, it's welcome to do so. However, as it stands today, the GOP is still the vehicle by which many criminals and enemies of liberty achieved high office.
Other than that, good luck because the world needs genuine American Liberty.
Michelle Bachmann (R - Minn) put this together in one week! She was on talk radio with Sean Hannity when it was first suggested - and then talk radio and other Conservative media people promoted.it.
Look at this particular event as an invitation by Conservative Michelle Bachmann, Republican Office Holder inviting Americans to join her in protest against ObamaCare supporters in Congress -
Thousands showed up apparently.
There were a bunch of pissed off mothers from 'asamom' heading to Wash DC today for this. I know a bunch from Lancaster and Lebanon counties were going - and more busloads from nearby states were planning on going. I wish that I could have gone - I was accompanying my oldest to a Science lecture at a nearby university today. It was very cool, but I missed being able to go to DC.
Was it a good turnout? I only saw a few pics at FoxNews. Hopefully there will be more pictures trickling in as people return home tonight.
