THE SWISS ROLE
Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 10:42PM Muslims in many parts of Switzerland have invited the public into mosques - three weeks before a vote on whether to ban the construction of minarets. How caring and inclusive.
Muslim organisations say they hope their open day will counter what they say are fears and prejudices. The conservative group that initiated the vote - the largest party in the Swiss parliament - says minarets are a symbol of Muslim political power.
I fully agree with the ban on the construction of minarets and trust the Swiss create a roll that others will emulate.
Muslims,

All the very best to the Swiss. May your votes for Christan civilisation ring out loud.
It's noted that a vote to ban the construction of heathen towers is held in the Swiss redoubt and in no EU province.
If they own the property then they should be allowed to build what they like on it. Property rights and all that.
Well said Fews.
Pete?
- Peter?
No, FO is wrong. Muslims are alien adherents to savagery. They can take it elsewhere.
The minarets of islam are as welcome as the chimeys of Auschwitz.
If they were banning Mosques and the Koran I'd take them seriously, as it is this is symbolic, nothing else.
Property rights for some.
Did the Germans have " property rights " to build Luftwaffe bases in the UK or in America in the 1930s?
Similar deal.
