THE WORKERS WANT THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION..

So yesterday I had something nice to say about the National Union of Whingers Teachers regarding the little hooligans that many of them have to try and educate but let me balance that today by accusing them of being little more than communist scum.  Get this..

"Private schools should be abolished, the new leader of Britain's biggest teachers' union said yesterday. Bill Greenshields, president of the National Union of Teachers, said his organisation should support "bringing all schools into the state sector". Then we would soon see some urgent improvements in our state system," he told the union's conference in Manchester.

What a GREAT idea, Bill. Let's ensure that the third rate sloppy dumbed down standards that typify all too many State schools can be introduced into the private sector. And let's deny parents choice when we're at it. Socialism uber alles

The International Fund for Ireland is to provide more than £1.1 million for a new pre-school project aimed at helping young children develop positive attitudes to diversity.

Developed and run by the organisation Early Years, the Respecting Difference programme will deliver mutual understanding and diversity training for teachers, parents and pre-school management committees.

Teachers will then deliver the programme to pupils with support from Early Years specialists.

There will also be a series of television cartoons complementing and supporting the classroom-based programme.

It is hoped that 240 pre-schools in Co Louth and Co Donegal as well as the north will take part over the next three years.

“Research has shown that children as young as six have sectarian attitudes and are making sectarian and racial remarks,” International Fund for Ireland chairman Denis Rooney said.

“If we want to move forward in our society towards lasting peace and a shared future we have to find ways to help our children to embrace diversity and difference.

“The Respecting Difference programme provides an innovative and proven way of helping young children to understand the need to be inclusive and respectful of others.”
