Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 07:17AM What do you reckon to the odd case of the muslim dentist who allegedly made a woman wear Islamic dress as the price of accepting her as an NHS patient? Omer Butt is said to have told the patient that unless she wore a headscarf she would have to find another practice. Later this month, Mr Butt will appear before a General Dental Council professional misconduct hearing, which has the power to strike him off.
It is claimed that the 31-year-old dentist asked to speak to the woman in private after she turned up for an appointment at his clinic in Bury. According to the charges, he questioned her on whether she was a Muslim and told her that if he was to treat her she would have to wear Islamic dress. He is also said to have read out a number of religious rules to her. It's not the intrepid Omer's first controversial appearance as he also featured in immigration hearings involving an asylum seeker suspected of providing a safe house for Kamel Bourgass, an Algerian terrorist jailed for life for stabbing PC Stephen Oake to death in Manchester in 2003.
It's amazing the places that these Islamists pop up, and in this case it seems clear to me that this man is unfit to practise in the United Kingdom, strike him off.

It's the same with all of these muslims. Check out this link to a UK muslim doctors association in which their purpose is stated as the improvement of muslims' health. NB not yours or mine as we are filthy kufr, but only of muslims.

The "butt" in the title perhaps?
Well, you seem to get a bit aroused whenever the fact that gays are not fully accepted into most Christian churches, try as Williams et al might. Yet, living amongst us is a doctrine whose adherents would have gays killed! No gays mention this elephant in their living rooms. I just want to know why on this clear-cut matter, the left gives islam a free pass, as on all othe rmatters.
Noel: I'd be more worried as to why he thought of you! Avoid the Oslo airport men's room at all costs!
Allan, I am probably considered left of centre ( how left, I am sure most people here will have their own thoughts).
I do not believe the left gives Muslims a free pass on anything- just like we do not give Fundamentalist Christians a free pass. I do not want to live in a Muslim State nor do I want to live in a Fundie Christian State. They would resemble each other quite profoundly.
I believe if you consider their ( i.e Fundies of both groups) positions of certain matters, including homosexuality- they support each other in these matters.
I oppose their positions.

I forgot to mention, that there have been gays killed for their homosexuality, in the most 'civilised' of places.
